Information for Analytics Day Presenters
Start by reading this document.
Thank you for your interest in presenting at KSU Analytics Day on Friday, April 19, 2024 . Presentations are scheduled from 7:30am until 10:45am . Presenters will arrive at 7:00am . The dress code is professional with suits strongly recommended. This page has important information for you as you prepare for your presentation.
Begin by letting Dr. Ferguson and Professor Frankel know your intent to present by registering here by Tuesday, April 9, 2024 . If you plan to present multiple posters, please email Professor Frankel in advance for poster placement.
Students are responsible for sending their posters to TRAC for printing, picking up their posters once printed, affixing the posters to a tri-fold board, and bringing them to the event.
Final digital copies of your posters should be submitted via this link no later than 5pm on Tuesday, April 9, 2024 . Posters received after that time will only be allowed to present if space permits, but will not be eligible to participate in the poster prize competition.
POSTER PRINTING
There are requirements for presenting, so read the entire Poster Instructions for Student Presenters Spring 2024 document. You are responsible for having your poster printed and picking it up. If you have questions, please email Dr. Ferguson .
Free poster printing is available on campus at TRAC (for students who submitted a copy of the poster to Professor Frankel by 5pm on April 9th) thanks to the support of our event sponsors. A PowerPoint file of your poster should be emailed to Kellie Hebblethwaite no later than Wednesday, April 10th . Please include the following information:
- “Conference poster for Analytics Day”
- Your full name
- Your student ID number
- Your phone number (in case they have to call you with a question)
Ms. Hebblethwaite will send a reply acknowledging the initial submission, and a staff member will send you an email when the poster is ready for pick up. TRAC is located in Kennesaw Hall, Room 2001.
Discounted poster printing is available for students who did not submit posters to Professor Frankel before the deadline. Students can pay $24 to TRAC by cash or check.
TRI-FOLD BOARDS
Tri-fold boards will be available for pickup in Clendenin 3003 the Tuesday and Wednesday before Analytics Day.
- April 9 - Registration deadline for presenters; Digital copy of your poster(s) submitted by 5:00pm.
- April 10 - Poster emailed to TRAC for printing
- April 16 & 17 - Pick up tri-fold(s) from Clendenin 3003

STAMFORD, Conn. – April 10, 2024 – Seven-time Olympic champions and world record holders Katie Ledecky and Caeleb Dressel , alongside multiple other U.S. Olympians, headline the final stop of the TYR Pro Swim Series this week streaming live exclusively on Peacock from Northside Swim Center in San Antonio, Texas.
NBC Sports’ live coverage streams on Peacock tomorrow and Friday at 7 p.m. ET. Highlights will air on NBC this Saturday, April 13, at 3:30 p.m. ET and on CNBC at 1:30 p.m. ET this Saturday and Sunday, April 12.
Ledecky, who is aiming to make her fourth Olympic team this year, is the world record holder in both the 800m free and 1500m free, the latter of which she hasn’t lost a final in since 2010. The 21-time world champion is entered in the 200m through 1500m frees this weekend. Dressel, looking to make his third Olympic team, is the world record holder in the 100m butterfly. He is entered in that event as well as the 50m free and 100m free this weekend.
In addition to Ledecky and Dressel, four-time Olympic gold medalist Ryan Murphy , two-time Tokyo Olympic gold medalist Bobby Finke , five-time Olympic medalist Lilly King , three-time Tokyo Olympic medalist Regan Smith , two-time Olympic medalist in the 400 IM Chase Kalisz , and five-time Olympic medalist Simone Manuel are expected to compete.
This week’s competition is the final stop in the 2024 TYR Pro Swim Series. The U.S. Olympic Team Trials – Swimming will be held from Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, Ind., from June 15-23, where the top two finishers in most events will earn their spots on Team USA in Paris. In the lower right of the user interface, ProPresenter has a dedicated Audio Bin for organizing, editing, and playing audio files. Create Playlists to organize your audio, use the Media Inspector to edit and customize your audio, and use the playback controls from within the bin to control the audio as it plays.

Working with Slides. Every presentation in ProPresenter consists of at least one slide, even if it's just a single media action. Each slide can tell you a lot about what is going to happen when you click on the slide, including the type of media action, whether there are any other Actions that will happen if you click on the Slide, if it is a part of a Group or has a Label, etc.
Click the plus (+) button in the upper right corner to add a new timer. This will add the default timer, which is a traditional countdown timer. There are two key things we'll look at right now. The first is the text box that says "Timer". You can rename the countdown with this text box. The second is the Duration.
