Nowadays information systems have wondrous effect on Hierarchy structures of organizations so that different level managers need the information. One of the effective factors in decision making system improvement is applying information systems however these systems must be accurate, reliable and up to date. Managers always need information and their decision adoption is based on Related data. In past, their information resources were random and non reliable. This paper discussed effect of applying management information system on performance of Lorestan Province Electric power Distribution Company and advantages and disadvantage of this system has been analysis. At the end a sample of information acquisition system program with access software has been written for analysis of main performance indexes of company. Effect of applying this system for organization, fast accessibility, time saving in Data acquisition and reduction in guesswork solving problem has been discussed

Before the availability of computers all records including accounts receivables, payables, inventory, payroll, personnel and the billing of customers were maintained by book keepers and clerks. Record keeping systems were frequently large in size, inefficient, and subject to human error. In the early years of computers it was, therefore, not surprising to find the focus on these applications. The potential payoff seemed promising. The results, in fact bore this out. It was proved that these computer methods held substantial advantages over the old labor-intensive methods. Among them were speed accuracy and cost savings. In these applications no decision making is involved; there is no choice between alternatives. As the computer assumed the information-processing role, it became apparent that the timely source of data which it generated could possibly be useful for decision-making purposes.

Purpose – The purpose of this paper to recognize the most important indicators of management information system that can influence the management control system. Design/methodology/approach – this study uses meta-analysis as the explanation approach as finding out the indicators of management information system that can influence the management control system may necessary be approved by empirical study for the next future research. Finding – The indicators of management information system supporting the quality of management before the management control system can be fully implemented. Originality/value – The characteristic of each indicator of management information system brings the information that shows the result from that information so that by studying this information at each different kind of situation will affect not only management quality but also the different strategy of management to applied control system based on the knowledge management level.

Technology is the science that studies processes, methods and operations run or applied onto raw materials, matters or data, in order to obtain a certain product. Information is the material signal able to launch a material reaction of a dynamic auto-tuning system for which the system is conditioned and finalized. Information Technology is the technology needed for handling (procuring, processing, storing converting and transmitting) information, in particular, with the use of computers [Longley, D. & Shain, M. (1985), p. 164]. The importance of IT in the economic growth and development is widely known, taking into account the impact that technology can have on the success and survival, or the failure of the economic activity of enterprises/organizations, IT offering various management information systems (MIS), executive and feedback segments, which all have important and beneficial implications in management and control.

The Management Information System (MIS) can be implemented in any manufacturing industry, human resource, logistic management industry, etc. This paper aims to describe implementation of MIS in automobile industry. The different data collection and data analysis techniques used in MIS implementation are discussed. Most of the time Barcodes and barcode readers are used as an input device in many industries. Due to such devices tracking and traceability of shop floor gets improved. The client server based information system is implemented in many industries for data transfer, storage and analysis. Different advantages of MIS implementation are discussed. The MIS is back bone of any organization. Very effectively implemented MIS helps the organization to perform its tasks smoothly and efficiently. Effective implementation of the MIS will help the organization to achieve good performance/ position in market.

Management Information system is a system which is very useful and helpful to get information about any organization or different departments of an organization and different kinds of fields. In this article we can analyzes that what is a MIS, Components and types of MIS Why MIS and what is the use of MIS in an information field. The design of a computer based MIS to aid in the search for information is a specialized task, requiring extensive knowledge of how information can be organized and how people search for information. The advantages and disadvantages of MIS discussed in this article also. But there are some most important things for MIS like computerized infrastructure, technical trained staff, accurate data collection and a database manager or information officer.
