What should a cover letter say Reddit?
Your cover letter should be a conversational (in most fields) explanation of 1) why you’re interested in the role and/or company and 2) what makes you a good fit skill and experience-wise. For the first, think about it like this: What’s in your background that makes this job particularly exciting to you?
Should I put soft skills on a resume Reddit?
Our general rule is that soft skills are acceptable in entry-level situations, when your career isn’t established enough to list enough examples and technical skills. Additionally, soft skills are always better shown than said.
What skills should I list on my resume Reddit?
Multi-tasking, ability to work independently/with little or no supervision, excellent communication and problem solving skills. A tip too: most job applications (online, for sure) have a list of “required skills” for the position. Go through it and add some of their key skills required to your resume. Best of luck!

How do I make a good Reddit resume?
Reddit, what are your resume tips?Put your resume in PDF format, because a Word doc will include red and green underlines. Create a Skills section with very specific details (ie: not “hard worker”) to showcase what you know.Jokes are, in general, a resume no-no. Add keywords to the footer of your resume (white, size 1 font).
Is a skills section necessary on a resume?
Almost always, the answer is yes. Your mileage will certainly vary depending on industry and field, but it’s certainly valuable. A dedicated skills section is at it’s most useful on the first page of a resume. Having those skills on the front page will also help you get past pesky keyword filters.
What a good resume should look like?
Keep It Simple. Unless you’re applying for a design role, a clean, simple layout is best. Use clear section headings and make them stand out with bold type, capital letters, and/or a different color. Make sure there’s plenty of white space—an overstuffed resume is hard to read.
