To Create Presentation Storyboards and Animate Models

An animation consists of actions arranged on the timeline of one or more storyboards. Animations are used to publish videos or to create sequences of snapshot views.

The following types of actions can be created: Move or rotate components, change component visibility or opacity, and change camera position. Actions are added to the storyboard timeline at the playhead position.

To Create a Storyboard

• If there are multiple storyboards, select one that to be the source storyboard. Source storyboards provide the initial settings for the new storyboard.

The new storyboard is inserted next to the selected storyboard. The component positions, visibility, opacity, and camera settings as of the end of the source Storyboard establish the initial states for the new storyboard.

Starts the storyboard with the model and camera settings based on the design view representation used by the current scene. No actions are inherited. The new storyboard tab is added at the end of the storyboard list.

• Click OK. The new storyboard is created and activated.

Pre-animation Setup

Use the Scratch Zone to set camera position and orientation and component visibility or opacity settings. Scratch Zone actions are not shown in the timeline.

• Select or create a storyboard.

• To change visibility for a component, select the component in the graphic window or browser, right-click, and click Visibility. Note: To edit the visibility of a component hidden while in the Scratch Zone, access the component from the model browser and change the setting.

Add Actions to a Storyboard Timeline

• If the playhead is not visible, click a point on the timeline.

• To change visibility for a component, select the component in the graphic window or browser, right-click, and click Visibility.

After you confirm your edits, corresponding actions are added to the current storyboard.

To Preview the Animation

Use the toolbar in the storyboard panel to play back the animation preview:

• To start at specific time, move the playhead to the desired position on the timeline and click Play Current Storyboard.

Scottie Scheffler Made an Awesome Gesture to His Caddie After Winning Second Career Masters

Every captain needs a trusty right-hand man—or when it comes to the Masters, every golfer needs a trusty caddie.

When Scottie Scheffler was crowned the victor of the 88th Masters tournament at Augusta National on Sunday, he rightfully celebrated with his caddie of two years, Ted Scott. 

The 27-year-old Scheffler clinched this year’s Masters four strokes ahead of runner-up Ludvig Aberg and became the fourth-youngest golfer to win the Masters twice. Entering the final round in a three-horse race for the lead, Scheffler pulled away from the other contenders on the second nine to win his second green jacket in the past three years.

As Scheffler, the No. 1 player in the world, continues to forge an inimitable legacy on the greens, he can look forward to making more history with the veteran Scott by his side. After Sunday’s win, Scheffler made sure Scott wasn’t just next to him but ahead of him as the two made their way to Butler Cabin.

In an ultimate class act, Scheffler pushed Scott to the front during their victory walk and had him lead them through the crowds.

This year marks Scott’s fourth Masters title in his caddying career, having previously won with Scheffler in 2022 and with Bubba Watson in 2012 and ‘14.

pqm4: Benchmarking NIST Additional Post-Quantum Signature Schemes on Microcontrollers

Description.

In July 2022, the US National Institute for Standards and Technology (NIST) announced the frst set of Post-Quantum Cryptography standards: Kyber, Dilithium, Falcon, and SPHINCS+. Shortly after, NIST published a call for proposals for additional post-quantum signature schemes to complement their initial portfolio. In 2023, 50 submissions were received, and 40 were accepted as round-1 candidates for future standardization.

In this paper, we study the suitability and performance of said candidates on the popular Arm Cortex-M4 microcontroller. We integrate the suitable implementations into the benchmarking framework pqm4 and provide benchmarking results on the STM32L4R5ZI featuring 640 KB of RAM. pqm4 currently includes reference implementations for 15 submissions and M4-optimized implementations for fve submissions. For the remaining candidates, we describe the reasons that hinder integration – the predominant reason being large key size or excessive memory consumption.
