Admission requirements
The typical entry requirement is a first degree in a relevant discipline, normally a 2:2 with a minimum of 55% overall, and a short portfolio of writing. Overseas students are expected to possess an IELTS score of 6.5.
Swansea University English Language Training
Swansea University's English Language Training services offer a variety of English courses including pre-sessionals, year round English, exam preparation and short courses. If you hold an offer from Swansea University you are able to take the Swansea English Language Test (SWELT) to fulfil your English language entry requirement. This is a 3 hour test which includes Reading, Writing, Listening and Speaking.

CREATIVE WRITING EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES
As well as significantly improving your writing skills, you should develop oral communication skills by learning to present your ideas in a range of formats. Graduates from this course enter a range of creative industries including publishing, broadcasting, marketing and advertising.
