ಈ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ನಾವೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಒಗ್ಗಟ್ಟಿನ, ಏಕತೆ, ಆರಾಧನೆ, ಸಂಬಂಧಗಳು, ಕುಟುಂಬ / ಸ್ನೇಹ / ಸೌಹಾರ್ದತೆ, ಸಾಮರಸ್ಯ ಮತ್ತು ಎಲ್ಲಕ್ಕಿಂತ ಹೆಚ್ಚಾಗಿ ಪ್ರೀತಿಯನ್ನು ಆಚರಿಸುತ್ತೇವೆ. ನಾವು ಒಬ್ಬರನ್ನೊಬ್ಬರು ಸ್ಮರಿಸುತ್ತೇವೆ ಮತ್ತು ನಾವು ವಯಸ್ಸಾದಾಗ ಅದನ್ನು ನೆನಪಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲು ಸಾವಿರಾರು  ನೆನಪುಗಳನ್ನು ಪಡೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತೇವೆ.

Good morning to one and all present here. Today we all have gathered here to celebrate our 30th annual day function. I am highly honored and feel privileged to have been given the opportunity to address everyone on this very special occasion. The motto of our annual day is to encourage students to participate in various events and showcase their talent. You could be very interested in sketching, drawing, or designing. Anything it may be today, you all have an opportunity to shine and show the world who you are. Today’s event also celebrates our school, as it’s been 30 years since our school has started impacting the lives of thousands of children. For the past 30 years, many students have graduated and have contributed to society in one way or another.

Our school has always believed that the children are the future that will help in making our country great and encourage that idea. We conduct an annual day every year. Students from many classes will be awarded for their accomplishments in both academics and sports. Annual day is not only for those students who are good at academics and sports as it encourages all the students to do better in school. I am sure everyone will grow up to achieve success and will help in contributing to the betterment of society. 

We all have gathered here on this annual day to inspire and motivate young minds to showcase their talents and realize their potential. We will be giving awards to the students who have contributed to our school in 2020, but we will also hold various competitions that will help the students recognize the field in which they are good. From art to business the fields are many, students can take part in this competition and learn and improve themself. Annual day is an important occasion for all of us because apart from the fact that it celebrates the success of the student it also highlights the success our school has achieved from the past 30 years in the field of education and sports. This platform is also an opportunity to welcome our chief guest of the evening today. 

Taking our evening further and to begin with the Annual day function, I, on behalf of everyone present here, heartily welcome the inaugurator and the dignity of the annual function today, the guest of honor, Mrs. Rekha, who is a social worker, philanthropist and has an experience in teaching for almost 20 years. I was especially thankful for her when we approached her with the invitation card and requested that she be part of the event as the chief guest, Miss. Rekha did not hesitate at all and instantly agreed to be part of the program. 

Thirty years ago, a woman left her highly paid job because she felt that she could contribute more to society. That lady went on and has changed the whole landscape of how education is provided in our country. The woman I am talking about is Miss. Rekha. For the past 30 years, ma’am has helped many students to achieve their dreams. I feel so lucky that I was given the opportunity to talk about ma’am and her achievements. I will try my best to sound as formal as I can, and if I don’t, please don’t blame me because I have been an admirer of Miss Rekha’s work from a younger age. Maam has helped establish many institutions across India that help provide free education to all students. She also has multiple branches of non-profit organizations (NGO’s) all across the country that allows underprivileged children to live good lives. The NGO that ma'am runs also provides free scholarships to students who want to study further abroad. I want to thank you because, like me, many have got a free scholarship to study and complete their further education.

Every individual is talented in their way. Everyone has their area of interest, hobbies, and passion. Scoring well in academics or being a topper is one thing, but the inner talent that everyone has is another. One should identify what their passion is and work accordingly despite any societal pressure. The stereotypes created by society have to be broken by the people living there themselves. That's what Mrs. Rekha did. It is an honor for all of us to have you as our chief guest today, and for that, we thank you, ma'am.

Before the program starts, I would like to welcome all the parents who have always supported us in spreading the light of knowledge. I would also like to welcome all the teachers, students, and support staff who are an important part of this school. I would like to request everyone to kindly cooperate with us throughout the program to make it successful.

Good morning to everyone present here today. I extend a warm welcome to everyone present here at the 25th annual function of our college. It is a big day for everyone who has been a part of the college in the present or the past. For the past 25 years, our college has made many accomplishments and has impacted thousands of lives for good or better. It is a special day as it celebrates the success of our college. Today on this occasion we have invited a special guest who was very kind enough to accept our invitation despite having a busy schedule. She has been running NGO’s all across the country that uplifts the poor and allow underprivileged children to study. Miss. Rekha is an inspiration for many as the accomplishments she has made are not an easy task. She has dedicated her past 25 years to providing free education to many students and has ensured that the students get all the facilities that would help them grow into better people. Maam has been successful in running different branches of her school throughout India. Ma'am established Little Angels school on March 22 1997 and for the past 23 years, many schools all across the country with the same name are providing free education to children. She has helped shape a part of society by providing education for many unprivileged students for almost 20 years. Ma'am, I feel honored that I was given this opportunity to speak about you and your accomplishments towards the society in front of my school. On behalf of everyone, we feel lucky to have you at our annual college day function. I hope today many students will be able to seek a little guidance from your thoughts.

Every year, I find it to be my pleasure to address you people who are the young minds of today and the responsible citizens of tomorrow. I and whole of our dedicated teachers’ team appreciate the efforts put in by the parents along with their wards. I am pleased to share that the distinguished guest to honour us with her presence today as the Chief Guest of our Sports day is none other than Ms Babita Kumari Phogat, the legendary Indian wrestler & Olympian. After a biopic (“Dangal”) has been made over their inspiring life stories,  I believe almost all of you must be aware of Phogat sisters who epitomise unfailing spirit to succeed despite all odds. Miss Phogat is one of the Indian women wrestlers who have made their nation proud many a times by their outstanding performance in the area mostly dominated by men.

Her valiant struggle backed by her strong determination brought her all the way where she is now. She has won 3 Gold medals and 1 Silver medal for India in Commonwealth Wrestling Championship along with 2 Bronze medals in World Wrestling Championship & Asian Wrestling Championship. It is a privilege for all of us gathered here to have such a celebrity between us as our esteemed guest of honour.

I’ve been a part of the school since I was in 4 th standard and what a journey it has been with each year having its own triumphs and struggles & yet unique in many ways. He is also a renowned philanthropist and known for his noble deeds. He is the founder of an NGO that works for the poor and deprived children. He is a highly literate person. After completing his graduation from IIT Kharagpur, he joined the Government and contributed towards the construction of several roads and bridges in our town. Our chief guest loves to write in his spare time and he has written several verses, especially focusing on social issues like poverty, unemployment, etc. It is really an honour to have such a distinguished figure as the chief guest today and having his presence is motivational and inspirational for the students of our school.

He was raised up as a carpenter; a man earning his daily bread in a poor home in Nazareth; a place of relative insignificance.

His love for you is steadfast and everlasting even when you fail dismally.

When you turn and come back even after wasting your life in wild living, he welcomes you to the presence of God. He will not accuse; nor does he find fault with you. “My friend, do you love me?” is the only question he asks. And that can break even a heart of stone to bitter tears.

In him and his poured out blood on the cross is found the forgiveness of your sins. From Bethlehem to Nazareth to Galilee to Jerusalem; his story therefore did not end in despair; but in one brilliant sunrise of hope for all: eternal life for all those who repent of their sins and believe in him; yes, for you and me.

He was before Time and remains the same yesterday, and today, and forever. His vision about the contribution of youth in our Organization, his charismatic personality, individual talent , persuasive communication skills, extraordinary ability to get the momentum going in all initiatives will definitely set standards of excellence.
