About the authors
Jim McGrath
My latest novel A Death in Autumn: 1968 will be published on the 1st July. I've no idea why but the book proved to be a right b***** to write. I've been writing it for over a year. All was going well until I reached the half way point and then I spent six months going around in circles. I hope you enjoy the book.
Thinking about why I found it so hard to finish Autumn I decided that I needed a rest from Collins and Clark. So my next book is about Barry Foster, who saves a local gang boss from being beaten to a pulp. The story will be spread over a number of years, and the question that Barry has to answer is, 'Do I want to earn easy money or live a decent life.'
My aim is to write a book similar to The Godfather but with a lot more laughs. So, clearly no pressure there.
