Why you’ll own nothing by 2030

Within 13 years the culture of ownership will have changed dramatically and people will simply not buy stuff the way they do today. That’s the conclusion of a contributor to the World Economic Forum, who has predicted that by 2030 we will no longer own “stuff” but rather rent it.

Ida Auken, a Danish MP and contributor to the forum’s Global Future Councils, suggests that in the future people will use her living room for meetings while she goes to work.

“Once in a while, I will choose to cook for myself,” she writes. “It is easy – the necessary kitchen equipment is delivered at my door within minutes… Why keep a pasta-maker and a crepe cooker crammed into our cupboards? We can just order them when we need them.”

It’s a bold prediction given that we’re widely accused of hoarding “stuff” right now. Countless magazine articles and self-help books advise people against the dangers of “stuffocation” and environmental agencies warn against our rampant consumerism.

Self-storage units were virtually unheard of 30 years ago, but now the industry is worth an estimated £440m, according to the Self Storage Association UK, and that’s just the major players – there’s also at least one start-up matching up people’s empty attics with other people’s stuff overspill.

Yet there is some evidence that the tide is beginning to turn. In fact, official figures suggest our obsession with buying “stuff” has peaked; data from the Office for National Statistics shows that the amount of stuff we buy as measured by weight fell from 15.1 tonnes per person in 2001 to 10.3 tonnes per person by 2013.

But if we aren’t buying items, how will we use them?

Ready, steady, share

The sharing economy, as it has become known, has been growing for several years now, especially within London and other large cities. The Office For National Statistics reports that the sector was worth £0.5bn in 2014, but estimates it will be worth as much as £9bn by 2025.

PriceWaterhouseCoopers goes one further, predicting growth of more than 30 per cent a year between 2015 and 2025. It says that the industry could be generating £18bn in revenues for the platforms by then and facilitating around £140bn-worth of transactions in the UK alone.

In the UK there are websites that allow users to share property, storage space, cars, designer clothes and handbags, power tools and more, and new start-ups spring up almost every week.

Research from Lloyds Bank has revealed that a third of people now use sharing economy services of some sort and one in 10 UK adults offers shared services. Holiday lets are the most common by far.

It found that, although this industry is still arguably in its infancy, growing numbers of people are supplementing their incomes this way; with annual earnings averaging at £411 for accommodation, £118 for a car and even £116 from renting out the family pet.

Anthony Eskinazi, CEO of JustPark, which helps users rent out their empty driveways, said: “Participation in the sharing economy shows no signs of slowing, and it’s easy to see why – it offers consumers cheaper, more flexible alternatives to traditional business models, while providing an opportunity to generate income from underused assets.

“For example, we connect more than a million drivers with thousands of underused parking spaces across the UK – helping motorists find a better deal on their parking, while allowing property owners to maximise the value of their spare land.”

Tim Downes, senior claims manager at Lloyds Bank Insurance, said that sharing allows owners to earn money and borrowers to save money, but cautions that it’s essential to have suitable insurance in place.

He commented: “The flipside to the benefits of a sharing economy is that so many have turned a blind eye to insuring their valuable, ‘money-making’ possessions should they become damaged or stolen. Anyone planning to rent out their homes, valuables, or a spare room should notify their insurer beforehand or they may risk invalidating a future claim.

“We would not recommend renting out potentially dangerous items such as garden tools unless the owners had the right type of insurance in place to cover for accidents and injuries that may result. If in any doubt, speak to your insurer.”

Fortunately, insurers are catching up with consumer demand for sharing. In February the insurer Admiral announced it would be supporting car sharing by offering short-term cover for as short a time as one hour and as little as £3.

Buying less, spending more

Interestingly, one phenomenon that’s already being noticed is that those people who are still buying big ticket items are increasingly spending more on a top-end model in order that they can rent it out more easily and make a return on their purchase.

Chaz Englander is co-founder of the recently launched rental website Fat Lama. It’s an online platform that lets users share their belongings with neighbours to earn money or avoid buying rarely used items, and it also insures items to their full value.

He says people are buying less but when they do, they’re buying better. “We’ve already seen users buying DSLRs and drones purely because they know they’ll be able to make their money back by renting them out on the platform – much like how people have started buying properties to rent on Airbnb over the last decade.

“This will, in turn, mean people will buy better quality stuff. By incentivising people to lend out their things, we’re speeding up the move towards a circular economy where products are repaired and reused instead of disposed of. Why wouldn’t you buy better quality items if they’ll pay for themselves?

“It’s another income stream for micro-entrepreneurs – freelance producers, photographers, musicians, DJs and more are in some instances doubling their monthly income.”

If the sharing economy is to be worth £18bn by 2025, then it will have to grow exponentially during the next few years. Even then, without a real transformation in how we view ownership, it is hard to imagine a world where we routinely borrow instead of buying just five years after that.

However, as the last few years have shown, disruptive technology can lead just such a transformation almost overnight.

  • We can emerge from this crisis a better world, if we act quickly and jointly, writes Schwab.
  • The changes we have already seen in response to COVID-19 prove that a reset of our economic and social foundations is possible.
  • This is our best chance to instigate stakeholder capitalism - and here's how it can be achieved.

COVID-19 lockdowns may be gradually easing, but anxiety about the world’s social and economic prospects is only intensifying. There is good reason to worry: a sharp economic downturn has already begun, and we could be facing the worst depression since the 1930s. But, while this outcome is likely, it is not unavoidable.

To achieve a better outcome, the world must act jointly and swiftly to revamp all aspects of our societies and economies, from education to social contracts and working conditions. Every country, from the United States to China, must participate, and every industry, from oil and gas to tech, must be transformed. In short, we need a “Great Reset” of capitalism.

Responding to the COVID-19 pandemic requires global cooperation among governments, international organizations and the business community , which is at the centre of the World Economic Forum’s mission as the International Organization for Public-Private Cooperation.

Since its launch on 11 March, the Forum’s COVID Action Platform has brought together 1,667 stakeholders from 1,106 businesses and organizations to mitigate the risk and impact of the unprecedented global health emergency that is COVID-19.

The platform is created with the support of the World Health Organization and is open to all businesses and industry groups, as well as other stakeholders, aiming to integrate and inform joint action.

As an organization, the Forum has a track record of supporting efforts to contain epidemics. In 2017, at our Annual Meeting, the Coalition for Epidemic Preparedness Innovations (CEPI) was launched – bringing together experts from government, business, health, academia and civil society to accelerate the development of vaccines. CEPI is currently supporting the race to develop a vaccine against this strand of the coronavirus.

There are many reasons to pursue a Great Reset, but the most urgent is COVID-19. Having already led to hundreds of thousands of deaths, the pandemic represents one of the worst public-health crises in recent history. And, with casualties still mounting in many parts of the world, it is far from over.

This will have serious long-term consequences for economic growth, public debt, employment, and human wellbeing. According to the Financial Times , global government debt has already reached its highest level in peacetime. Moreover, unemployment is skyrocketing in many countries: in the US, for example, one in four workers have filed for unemployment since mid-March, with new weekly claims far above historic highs. The International Monetary Fund expects the world economy to shrink by 3% this year – a downgrade of 6.3 percentage points in just four months.

All of this will exacerbate the climate and social crises that were already underway. Some countries have already used the COVID-19 crisis as an excuse to weaken environmental protections and enforcement. And frustrations over social ills like rising inequality – US billionaires’ combined wealth has increased during the crisis – are intensifying.

Have you read?

What risks does covid-19 pose to society in the long-term, covid-19 is a litmus test for stakeholder capitalism.

Left unaddressed, these crises, together with COVID-19, will deepen and leave the world even less sustainable, less equal, and more fragile. Incremental measures and ad hoc fixes will not suffice to prevent this scenario. We must build entirely new foundations for our economic and social systems.

The level of cooperation and ambition this implies is unprecedented. But it is not some impossible dream. In fact, one silver lining of the pandemic is that it has shown how quickly we can make radical changes to our lifestyles. Almost instantly, the crisis forced businesses and individuals to abandon practices long claimed to be essential, from frequent air travel to working in an office.

Likewise, populations have overwhelmingly shown a willingness to make sacrifices for the sake of health-care and other essential workers and vulnerable populations, such as the elderly. And many companies have stepped up to support their workers, customers, and local communities, in a shift toward the kind of stakeholder capitalism to which they had previously paid lip service .

Clearly, the will to build a better society does exist. We must use it to secure the Great Reset that we so badly need. That will require stronger and more effective governments, though this does not imply an ideological push for bigger ones. And it will demand private-sector engagement every step of the way.

The Great Reset agenda would have three main components. The first would steer the market toward fairer outcomes. To this end, governments should improve coordination (for example, in tax, regulatory, and fiscal policy), upgrade trade arrangements, and create the conditions for a “stakeholder economy.” At a time of diminishing tax bases and soaring public debt, governments have a powerful incentive to pursue such action.

Moreover, governments should implement long-overdue reforms that promote more equitable outcomes. Depending on the country, these may include changes to wealth taxes, the withdrawal of fossil-fuel subsidies, and new rules governing intellectual property, trade, and competition.

The second component of a Great Reset agenda would ensure that investments advance shared goals, such as equality and sustainability. Here, the large-scale spending programs that many governments are implementing represent a major opportunity for progress. The European Commission, for one, has unveiled plans for a €750 billion ($826 billion) recovery fund. The US, China, and Japan also have ambitious economic-stimulus plans.

Rather than using these funds, as well as investments from private entities and pension funds, to fill cracks in the old system, we should use them to create a new one that is more resilient, equitable, and sustainable in the long run. This means, for example, building “green” urban infrastructure and creating incentives for industries to improve their track record on environmental, social, and governance (ESG) metrics.

The third and final priority of a Great Reset agenda is to harness the innovations of the Fourth Industrial Revolution to support the public good, especially by addressing health and social challenges. During the COVID-19 crisis, companies, universities, and others have joined forces to develop diagnostics, therapeutics, and possible vaccines; establish testing centers; create mechanisms for tracing infections; and deliver telemedicine. Imagine what could be possible if similar concerted efforts were made in every sector.

great reset coronavirus covid klaus schwab quote

The COVID-19 crisis is affecting every facet of people’s lives in every corner of the world. But tragedy need not be its only legacy. On the contrary, the pandemic represents a rare but narrow window of opportunity to reflect, reimagine, and reset our world to create a healthier, more equitable, and more prosperous future.

How ‘own nothing and be happy’ sparked a misinformation campaign that targeted the World Economic Forum

This article was published more than 1 year ago. Some information may no longer be current.

Adrian Monck is the managing director of the World Economic Forum.

Own nothing, be happy. You may have heard the phrase. It started life as a screenshot, culled from the internet by an anonymous antisemitic account on the image board 4chan. “Own nothing, be happy – The Jew World Order 2030,″ said the post, which went viral among extremists.

How did a years-old headline turn into a meme for the far right and a slogan picked up by mainstream conservative politicians? And what’s the truth behind that headline?

The story begins in 2016 with the publication of an opinion piece on the World Economic Forum’s Agenda website by Danish MP Ida Auken under the headline “Welcome to 2030: I own nothing, have no privacy and life has never been better.”

It was part of an essay series intended to spark debate about socio-economic developments. This was the time of the booming “app” economy, and the commissioning editor had previously worked for conservative British newspaper The Telegraph. The piece gained a respectable readership and lived quietly on the website for a number of years.

Fast forward four years to 2020. The world looked very different. A pandemic was raging, and the World Economic Forum launched “ The Great Reset,” promoting the idea of “building back better” so that economies could emerge greener and fairer out of the pandemic.

The pandemic magnified many societal ills. The mistrust in governments and leaders that had been building before the health crisis played into the hands of both fringe groups and state-sponsored actors looking to undermine and weaken rivals. Both came together on the anonymous dark web in places such as 4chan’s “politically incorrect” image board.

The board, which is completely unmoderated, was also used by operators of a Russian propaganda campaign. The intent was apparently to spread disinformation in a bid to stir far-right outrage about COVID-19 and perpetuate domestic extremism. The means was often via bots that would push far-right conspiracy theories to communities on boards such as 4chan.

Recent analysis explains how this context brought extremists together “ using rhetoric that trivialized National Socialism and the Holocaust .” This same far-right, Holocaust-denying cohort latched onto the Great Reset, claiming that the Forum was part of a group that “orchestrated the pandemic to take control of the global economy.”

A number of threads appeared in this vein. One such 4chan thread linked the pandemic and the alleged nefarious control the Forum exercises over the global economy with the idea that “you’ll own nothing and be happy.”

It went truly viral, capturing the warped imagination of conspiracy and fringe groups. One neo-Nazi and white-supremacist website claimed the Great Reset was a “response to the coronavirus faked crisis” and would usher in “global communism” to ensure “no one will be able to own anything.”

Its popularity also saw more mainstream figures dog-whistle the phrase while ignoring its antisemitic and far-right origins. Threads proliferated, the catchphrase “own nothing, be happy” snowballed, and even more mainstream news sites, including Fox News and Sky News Australia, embraced it.

Actor and comedian Russell Brand talked about it in a video that received more than 1.8 million views on Facebook. Pierre Poilievre, currently running for the leadership of the Conservative Party of Canada, used it to discredit Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s government, giving rise to a national movement.

Even though Reuters Fact Check concluded in February, 2021, that “the World Economic Forum does not have a stated goal to have people own nothing and be happy by 2030,” the trolling continues.

Users on Twitter and Facebook, for instance, have spread doctored content to promote the falsehood that, through the Great Reset, the Forum is advancing pernicious depopulation efforts. These include racist conspiracies that claim white people are the primary target for depopulation. Bad-faith actors have also targeted the Forum’s coverage of the circular economy (economic systems that aim to eliminate waste by reusing raw materials rather than disposing of them), decrying it as a “ top-down agenda ” coming from “unelected globalists looking to reshape the world in their image.” These are just some examples among many.

As far back as 2013, the World Economic Forum’s annual Global Risks Report flagged misinformation as a concern, warning then that it could spark “digital wildfires” in our hyperconnected world.

Today, that warning has largely been borne out. Misinformation is a serious challenge for regulators, a minefield for individuals who seek the facts, and a barrier to governments and organizations wanting to disseminate important information.

The consequences of unabated misinformation are dangerous. Misinformation concerning COVID-19 and vaccines cost lives during the pandemic . The revelations around the Jan. 6, 2021, Capitol Hill riot reveal how false information about elections can threaten the foundations of democracy. And 68 per cent of Americans agree, saying “made-up news is detrimental to the country’s democratic system.”

Moreover, the amount of data now being generated, predicted to almost quadruple by 2025 , makes it easier and cheaper to use algorithms for malicious or manipulative purposes with unprecedented efficiency, speed and reach.

“It is important to recognize that misinformation/disinformation is a tactic used to support an oftentimes political strategy. There are a variety of ways that bad information circulates for political gain. A classic example is for an actor to intentionally disseminate false, inaccurate or misleading information that inflicts demonstrable and significant public harm,” said Steven Feldstein, a senior fellow at the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace.

“Another set of tactics involve trolling and harassment, probably the most common form of misinformation directed against the Forum. Trolling and harassment entail deliberately posting offensive content online in order to provoke or disrupt conversations.”

The story of “you’ll own nothing and be happy” is anything but trivial and offers valuable insights into how misinformation is created and why it’s essential not to perpetuate its spread.

It also highlights how misinformation derails free speech. At the request of Ms. Auken, the Forum removed all media around her piece because of the online abuse and threats she had faced. Action to prevent lies being accepted as truth can help avoid similar situations and promote genuine free speech, allowing us all to freely exchange ideas and opinions.

In a world where the trolls often win, more forward-thinking conversations like the one Ms. Auken tried to initiate will be tarnished.

“Own Nothing and Be Happy”: The Great Reset’s Vision of the Future World Economic Forum’s video tells us about the plans for humanity in the year 2030

Colin todhunter.

world economic forum agenda 2030 you'll own nothing essay

The World Economic Forum’s (WEF) annual meeting at the end of January in Davos, Switzerland, brings together international business and political leaders, economists and other high-profile individuals to discuss global issues.

Driven by the vision of its influential CEO Klaus Schwab, the WEF is the main driving force for the dystopian ‘great reset’ , a tectonic shift that intends to change how we live, work and interact with each other.

The great reset entails a transformation of society resulting in permanent restrictions on fundamental liberties and mass surveillance as entire sectors are sacrificed to boost the monopoly and hegemony of pharmaceuticals corporations, high-tech/big data giants, Amazon, Google, major global chains, the digital payments sector, biotech concerns, etc.

Using COVID-19 lockdowns and restrictions to push through this transformation, the great reset is being rolled out under the guise of a ‘Fourth Industrial Revolution’ in which older enterprises are to be driven to bankruptcy or absorbed into monopolies, effectively shutting down huge sections of the pre-COVID economy. Economies are being ‘restructured’ and many jobs will be carried out by AI-driven machines.

In a short video showcased on social media, the WEF predicts that by 2030, “You’ll own nothing and you’ll be happy.”

A happy smiling face is depicted while a drone delivers a product to a household, no doubt ordered online and packaged by a robot in a giant Amazon warehouse: ‘no humans were involved in manufacturing, packaging or delivering this product’ ; rest assured, it is virus- and bacteria-free – because even in 2030, they will need to keep the fear narrative alive and well to maintain full-spectrum dominance over the population.

The jobless (and there will be many) could be placed on some kind of universal basic income and have their debts (indebtedness and bankruptcy on a massive scale is the deliberate result of lockdowns and restrictions) written off in return for handing their assets to the state or more precisely the financial institutions helping to drive this great reset.

The WEF says the public will ‘rent’ everything they require: stripping the right of ownership under the guise of ‘sustainable consumption’ and ‘saving the planet’. Of course, the tiny elite who rolled out this great reset will own everything.

Hundreds of millions around the world deemed ‘surplus to requirements’ are to be robbed (are currently being robbed) of their livelihoods. Our every movement and purchase are to be monitored and our main dealings will be online.

The plan for individual citizens could reflect the strategy to be applied to nation states. For instance, World Bank Group President David Malpass has stated that poorer countries will be ‘helped’ to get back on their feet after the various lockdowns that have been implemented. This ‘help’ will be on condition that neoliberal reforms and the undermining of public services are implemented and become further embedded.

On 20 April, the Wall Street Journal ran the headline ‘IMF, World Bank Face Deluge of Aid Requests From Developing World ‘. Scores of countries are asking for bailouts and loans from financial institutions with $1.2 trillion to lend. An ideal recipe for fuelling dependency.

In return for debt relief or ‘support’, global conglomerates along with the likes of Bill Gates will be able to further dictate national policies and hollow out the remnants of nation state sovereignty.

Identity and meaning

What will happen to our social and personal identity? Is that to be eradicated in the quest to commodify and standardise human behaviour and everything we do?

The billionaire class who are pushing this agenda think they can own nature and all humans and can control both, whether through geoengineering the atmosphere, for example, genetically modifying soil microbes or doing a better job than nature by producing bio-synthesised fake food in a lab.

They think they can bring history to a close and reinvent the wheel by reshaping what it means to be human. And they think they can achieve this by 2030. It is a cold dystopian vision that wants to eradicate thousands of years of culture, tradition and practices virtually overnight.

And many of those cultures, traditions and practices relate to food and how we produce it and our deep-rooted connections to nature. Consider that many of the ancient rituals and celebrations of our forebears were built around stories and myths that helped them come to terms with some of the most basic issues of existence, from death to rebirth and fertility. These culturally embedded beliefs and practices served to sanctify their practical relationship with nature and its role in sustaining human life.

As agriculture became key to human survival, the planting and harvesting of crops and other seasonal activities associated with food production were central to these customs. Freyfaxi marks the beginning of the harvest in Norse paganism, for example, while Lammas or Lughnasadh is the celebration of the first harvest/grain harvest in Paganism.

Humans celebrated nature and the life it gave birth to. Ancient beliefs and rituals were imbued with hope and renewal and people had a necessary and immediate relationship with the sun, seeds, animals, wind, fire, soil and rain and the changing seasons that nourished and brought life. Our cultural and social relationships with agrarian production and associated deities had a sound practical base.

Prof Robert W Nicholls explains that the cults of Woden and Thor were superimposed on far older and better-rooted beliefs related to the sun and the earth, the crops and the animals and the rotation of the seasons between the light and warmth of summer and the cold and dark of winter.

We need look no further than India to appreciate the important relationship between culture, agriculture and ecology, not least the vital importance of the monsoon and seasonal planting and harvesting. Rural-based beliefs and rituals steeped in nature persist, even among urban Indians. These are bound to traditional knowledge systems where livelihoods, the seasons, food, cooking, processing, seed exchange, healthcare and the passing on of knowledge are all inter-related and form the essence of cultural diversity within India itself.

Although the industrial age resulted in a diminution of the connection between food and the natural environment as people moved to cities, traditional ‘food cultures’ – the practices, attitudes and beliefs surrounding the production, distribution and consumption of food – still thrive and highlight our ongoing connection to agriculture and nature.

‘Hand of god’ imperialism

If we go back to the 1950s, it is interesting to note Union Carbide’s corporate narrative based on a series of images that depicted the company as a ‘hand of god’ coming out of the sky to ‘solve’ some of the issues facing humanity. One of the most famous images is of the hand pouring the firm’s agrochemicals on Indian soils as if traditional farming practices were somehow ‘backward’.

Despite well-publicised claims to the contrary, this chemical-driven approach did not lead to higher food production according to the paper New Histories of the Green Revolution written by Prof Glenn Stone. However, it has had long-term devastating ecological, social and economic consequences (see Vandana Shiva’s book The Violence of the Green Revolution and Bhaskar Save’s now famous and highly insightful open letter to Indian officials ).

In the book Food and Cultural Studies ’ (Bob Ashley et al), we see how, some years ago, a Coca Cola TV ad campaign sold its product to an audience which associated modernity with a sugary drink and depicted ancient Aboriginal beliefs as harmful, ignorant and outdated. Coke and not rain became the giver of life to the parched. This type of ideology forms part of a wider strategy to discredit traditional cultures and portray them as being deficient and in need of assistance from ‘god-like’ corporations.

What we are seeing in 2020, is an acceleration of such processes. In terms of food and agriculture, traditional farming in places like India will be under increasing pressure from the big-tech giants and agribusiness to open up to lab-grown food, GMOs, genetically engineered soil microbes, data harvesting tools and drones and other ‘disruptive’ technologies.

The great reset includes farmerless farms being manned by driverless machines, monitored by drones and doused with chemicals to produce commodity crops from patented GM seeds for industrial ‘biomatter’ to be processed and constituted into something resembling food. What will happen to the farmers?

Post-COVID, the World Bank talks about helping countries get back on track in return for structural reforms. Are tens of millions of smallholder farmers to be enticed from their land in return for individual debt relief and universal basic income? The displacement of these farmers and the subsequent destruction of rural communities and their cultures was something the Gates Foundation once called for and cynically termed “land mobility”.

Cut through the euphemisms and it is clear that Bill Gates – and the other incredibly rich individuals behind the great reset – is an old-fashioned colonialist who supports the time-honoured dispossessive strategies of imperialism, whether this involves mining, appropriating and commodifying farmer knowledge, accelerating the transfer of research and seeds to corporations or facilitating intellectual property piracy and seed monopolies created through IP laws and seed regulations.

In places like India – still an agrarian-based society – will the land of these already (prior to COVID) heavily indebted farmers then be handed over to the tech giants, the financial institutions and global agribusiness to churn out their high-tech, data-driven GM industrial sludge? Is this part of the ‘own nothing, be happy’ bland brave new world being promoted by the WEF?

With the link completely severed between food production, nature and culturally embedded beliefs that give meaning and expression to life, we will be left with the individual human who exists on lab-based food, who is reliant on income from the state and who is stripped of satisfying productive endeavour and genuine self-fulfilment.

Technocratic meddling has already destroyed or undermined cultural diversity, meaningful social connections and agrarian ecosystems that draw on centuries of traditional knowledge and are increasingly recognised as valid approaches to secure food security (for example, see Food Security and Traditional Knowledge in India in the Journal of South Asian Studies).

The massive technocratic transformation currently envisaged regards humans as commodities to be controlled and monitored just like the lifeless technological drones and AI being promoted.

But do not worry – you will be property-less and happy in your open prison of mass unemployment, state dependency, track and chip health passports, cashlessness, mass vaccination and dehumanisation.

2030 coincides with the Grand Solar Minimum that is going to starve many people to death due to less food production. It has already started. Google “crop losses”, click on news. Research it, manmade global warming is a red herring to keep you from realizing the Earth is getting colder due to the cycles of the Sun and there is nothing anyone can do about it.

Sounds like these people do not understand Patriotism in The United States and what can be done to them. The end of this planet is very near and the person that they will answer too is not scared of them.

In the end rich or poor, elite or not, nothing is owned when we exit life’s door!

Paul

Sorry to go on about this again, but this website has a more recent article (30/01/21) with ‘Great Reset’ in it’s title and doesn’t even mention directly the WEF and previous accusations from this article.

https://off-guardian.org/2021/01/30/avoid-the-great-reset-in-three-easy-steps/

What does that tell you? Maybe this article was piffle after all?

I look forward to responses, particularly to my previous comment.

Stay Safe Paul

Stay safe from what, Poephol. Rhetorical. The virus is a hoax, and you are a bought and sold disinformation peddler, your handlers no doubt pleased with your ‘Big Brother loves you, so love Big Brother’ shtick.

you’re funny as shit trying to reason with crazy ppl. Thomas Paine said, “to argue with a person who has renounced the use of reason is like administering medicine to the dead!”

Good Evening Everyone,

I have made several posts below regarding this article and the majority of your comments completely contradicting the latest WEF 2021 report and indeed their website/values since inception.

I have also explained what I believe the video means that you are all so ‘excited’ about.

In particular (but not restricted to) the WEF message is to Tax Tech companies and ensure it’s also distributed to Poor countries/Upskilling/Fight against Climate Change/Reduce gap between Poor and Rich etc.

Indeed, the above is in complete contrast to what you guys think the WEF are trying to do.

Despite some replies, some of them quite dismissive and rude rather than explaining why I am wrong; I will ask the following questions: (Feel free to answer once you have read the WEF 2021 report):

  • If article is correct, why does WEF 2021 report completely contradict?
  • If adamant WEF will do as Video/Article suggests, when will they actually enact something to confirm this?
  • When and What is the 1st stage?
  • How long are you guys willing to wait until you admit you are wrong?

At the moment, they ARE trying to do what is in WEF 2021 report. And as it stands you people are ironically sadly slowing them down doing it by shouting your uncollaborated messages!

Look forward to meaningful/credible/intelligent replies.

Not Sure

“ You will own nothing and be happy “. Right up there with “ Freedom is slavery “.

Not one person has replied to me regarding this video and me suggesting it’s a meant to be a prediction if nothing is done/changed. Also advising to read the recently published 2021 WEF report on their own website, with no ‘big reset’ and lots of good stuff in it to help climate change and poor people out.

So comment somebody please.

I think the author of this article and you lot need to apologise to the WEF!

nico

climate change is a globalist scam, number 1. 2, they openly talk about the great reset in the wef page, just look it up. of course they make it sound nice, why wouldn’t they? Wake the hell up

Any reset talked about in the WEF 21 report is about reducing the gap between rich and poor as well as taxing the big IT tech companies to ensure its dispersed to poor countries also. All this stuff is exactly what the WEF shows on homepage and promoted since inception.

Where in report do they contradict themselves that backs up your theory? When is the WEF going to start all that you purport? What’s the 1st stage? When?

Look forward to your response.

Greta puppet Scumberg, quit posting as Paul (Poephol) and take your climate change hoax and shove it where the sun don’t shine, you Big Brother bought and sold swine.

That should be “human-caused climate change’ is a globalist scam. Climate change has always happened and always will

Dam right, 👍👍👍

oh dear Paul you are the one getting it soooooo wrong there is nothing being planned by the WEF thats “GOOD” climate change does not exist its a natural pattern like the ice-age or things would of gone tits during industrial revolution when there was thick smog. Its all a scam you need to wake up. Help the poor people out mmmmm like Bill Gates helped the poor people of India and Africa out with his dodgy vaccine killing loads and disabling more, I bet you have willingly had your vaccination and will be front of the queue for more. Good luck with that. They just want control and the way things are going and people like you thinking they are being helpful they will get it. I just hope there’s more people like me willing to stand up for our freedoms before its too late. Check your facts!

John Abell

Climate change is a sham, hoax, scam. Something made up by the Elite. They are HEAVILY invested in these “Green Technologies”, Which in turn are subsidized by the Government I.E. Your tax dollars. Look, the Earth IS a living planet. Always changing and not static. The weather is driven by many factors, ocean currents, the gravitational pull of the Moon, and the Sun. It’s all based on Science. The extreme Left (Including the Elite) twist and turn science to fit their “Agenda”. Everything on Earth is carbon based, Including Life. They want to eliminate Carbon Dioxide. Also Known as CO2. All living creates and Beings Consume and expel CO2. Plants need CO2 to grow and produce food for themselves and us. I could go on and on. But I have a life to live. For more INFO just do some Internet searches. I wish you all well and Happiness😊

No one wants to dignify your nonsense with a response. “There are none so blind as those who will not see.”

Yes,I have seen this video. It is a prediction and what can poss happen if government’s etc. around the world do not do as WEF suggests in their 2021 report. Primarily climate disaster resulting in dire knock on effects. Have you read it?

Paul sorry you need to wake up as governments round the world are all in on it. Sorry to ruin your day but thats the truth

If government for hundreds of years couldn’t bring about change… how is the WEF going to do it? Do they really care about the poor masses? The age old tradition is to look after the ruling class, the WEF meet at Davos, that’s elitism right there. What the WEF espouse in that video looks like another political party broadcast to me. Behind every action is a motive what there’s is the real question!!!!!

yes the video does exist or at least, did

Dear World Economic Forum,

A long articulated explanation of why you are the most dangerous sort of organisation on th eplanet would be elegant and more productive, but in th eend, it would boil down to a simple recommednation. So I have made it easier for you to read: Fuck you! Thank you sirs.

“Yes,I have seen this video. It is a prediction and what can poss happen if government’s etc. around the world do not do as WEF suggests in their 2021 report.”

No this video is clearly NOT as you attempt to spin it. No matter how things are spun in the 2021 report, this video (along with a post, from the same year as the video, at the WEF’s page) was meant to PROMOTE the conditions described in the video. It was obviously intended to hijack and instrumentalize the misguided/naive idealism of the young.

So you’re either an idiot or a liar (or both).

From the WEF’s own page (emphases mine):

https://www.weforum.org/agenda/2016/11/shopping-i-can-t-really-remember-what-that-is/

For more information watch the What If: Privacy Becomes a Luxury Good? session from the World Economic Forum’s Annual Meeting 2017. Welcome to the year 2030. Welcome to my city – or should I say, “our city”. I don’t own anything. I don’t own a car. I don’t own a house. I don’t own any appliances or any clothes.

It might seem odd to you, but it makes perfect sense for us in this city. Everything you considered a product, has now become a service. We have access to transportation, accommodation, food and all the things we need in our daily lives. One by one all these things became free, so it ended up not making sense for us to own much.

First communication became digitized and free to everyone. Then, when clean energy became free, things started to move quickly. Transportation dropped dramatically in price. It made no sense for us to own cars anymore, because we could call a driverless vehicle or a flying car for longer journeys within minutes. We started transporting ourselves in a much more organized and coordinated way when public transport became easier, quicker and more convenient than the car. Now I can hardly believe that we accepted congestion and traffic jams, not to mention the air pollution from combustion engines. What were we thinking?

Sometimes I use my bike when I go to see some of my friends. I enjoy the exercise and the ride. It kind of gets the soul to come along on the journey. Funny how some things seem never seem to lose their excitement: walking, biking, cooking, drawing and growing plants. It makes perfect sense and reminds us of how our culture emerged out of a close relationship with nature.

In our city we don’t pay any rent, because someone else is using our free space whenever we do not need it. My living room is used for business meetings when I am not there.

Once in awhile, I will choose to cook for myself. It is easy – the necessary kitchen equipment is delivered at my door within minutes. Since transport became free, we stopped having all those things stuffed into our home. Why keep a pasta-maker and a crepe cooker crammed into our cupboards? We can just order them when we need them.

Thajks for reply.

Sorry but my comment still stands. The videos and articles are simply predicting what will happen if we do nothing or natural tech evolution/famine due to climate change. Read WEF 21 report and/or ask them.

All the best.

Watch the movie Bitter Seeds. It is Loansharks that landgrab the lands of Indian farmers who have been committing suicide and at incredible rate. Forced to huge Monsanto GM seeds, and the old traditonal seeds no longer available. Forcing farmers to loan money to buy these seeds. no increased harvest, no money to pay off the loan with a promise to then hand over their ancestral land. Coca Cola meanwhile replacing the expensive pest combatants, and said to work better. Also forced to buy fertilizer. Left overs of BT cotton after harvest traditionally eaten on the fields by lambs, are so deadly they kill the lamb. So what is on eating if eating BT seeds. And the owning nothing a total scam. Since Lenin the top partymembers corrupt and owning/confiscating everything. Putin the richest man on earth. He built himself a huge castle near the Black Sea.

So, let me in all humbleness just show two links, videos, without further explanations, apart from some few points, for once, this videos dont fill up the usual giberish about China, witch this days is making hughe progresses regaring the eastern nations incl Korea, Japan and amasing enough, Australia, yeah, what happened, did they find an inch of comon sense, forget the drivel the Yankikes are yapping all over the place, from whatever this braindead sheeps claim is socialism (you know, venezuela etc), jesus they know nothing to communism witch where they indeed show aboslutelly an destert of knowledge, totaly empty, and if you use your brain for an second, i wouldnt hold my breath for that, but, the sole reason for your problems lies inside your own countrys elite and their minions, and is by large an product of your Gov, nobody else, to then blame China is an dead end, China, witch I knew would rise, despite been down for some few centurys is coming up to the place they deserve, as an economic empire, and they way they conduct them selfs demands respect, and they have it from me, India is an basket case, and the moron in charge is nothing but an Yankike assliker, and will achive nothing, as the present path. But in the end, its Indias problem.

So, in the after math of the last Davos, I read something in an site witch for me was unbelivable, more like the 100 Monkey theorem, than anything else, to day, I know that what I read was indeed genuine, from an person witch I couldnt belive did this, in my own arogance I dismissed the enitre writing as “to good to be true”. I apologise for been wrong. Yup, dead wrong. So, I give you this two videos, you may watch em in the sequence presented, but both are highly recomended, again, I dont fully agrees, but it will be much more sane than what we have right now, when we are stearing straight into the barrels on an cannon, this two videos attacks the same problem. D. Trumps speach in Davos. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mdPJRSnATG4 And the reason they hate him, and in this there are some gems, you simply cant miss. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bpkLzXOgSKs

This sounds perfectly plausible. But once these oligarchs have everything in their possession and all processes have been automated and mechanized, why would they keep the rest of us around? Oh, I suppose they might need a vanishingly tiny number of us for certain tasks, but the great bulk of humanity would be useless.

Wouldn’t a quicker route to this wonderful future (for them) more rationally begin with pushing the bulk of the population to extinction, something like what’s happening now with US “deaths of despair” (not that this is necessarily part of a plan, but it might be)?

“why would they keep the rest of us around?”

Exactly. They could only dream it (a la HG Wells and George Bernard Shaw) in the late 19th, early 20th century, when they still needed lots of human robots to build and maintain industry; it was only sometime during the ’70s, when industrial robots became a thing, that TFIC felt THE DREAM was beginning to be in reach. Then the micro-chip, super-computing revolution sealed the deal. And the push toward pushing the surly, seething bulk of us Serfs off the planet began in earnest. I imagine the details of The Great Reset scheme can only be a few decades old.

They don’t need the population anymore. They have reached what they called “The Limits To Growth“. The fourth industrial revolution ushers in the new economy which is based on biometric surveillance, data collection and constant health monitoring, resulting in liquidation of assets. Assets equals people and their property.

First they collapse the economy with a fake virus. Next they induce nation state bankruptcies and food shortages. After that, the IMF grants UBI, but only if you get on the Vaxx-ecution program and agree to relinquish all assets and property forever.

They are collecting your assets while they murder you.

The people behind the Great Reset are the same group behind the Club of Rome and the Spiral Report and Global 2000 Report outlining the necessity for massive depopulation.

http://conspiracywiki.com/new-world-order/club-of-rome/

They despise humanity. These are the bankers, politicians and Industrialists who profiteer by killing civilians through unnecessary wars and sickening the rest purposefully with vaccines, fluoride, drugs, GMOs, pollution and radiation exposure.

Galahad

I would add though that the vaccine itself could be the way they’ll trigger the genocide. Maybe combined with 5G or whatever mechanism.

That’s why they’ll make it compulsory.

That’s why anti-vaxxers have been so demonised for the last 2-3 decades.

jkb

And if the vaccines do contain nanoparticles, and if it’s true that it could be remote controlled using electromagnetic waves to influence human body and psyche, we may see 5G-controlled cyborgs soon. Or lots and lots of sick people. Or dead bodies.

The Club of Rome’s Limits To Growth report was and is quite correct that humans have grossly overpopulated the Earth and we are in a state of overshoot that can only end with collapse and die-off. Attempting to help humanity understand this threat in order to avoid widespread destruction and suffering is a noble quest. Unfortunately most people are lemmings who happily listen to fools who tell them that we can disrupt and consume nature at an exponential rate on a finite planet. We are cursed to only learn the most important lessons the hard way.

“The Club of Rome’s Limits To Growth report was and is quite correct that humans have grossly overpopulated the Earth and we are in a state of overshoot that can only end with collapse and die-off.”

Utter nonsense and toxic brainwashing from the Completely Objective, Not-Serving-The Powerful-At All, Club of Rome : the wealthiest “top” of the planet consume 10,000X what the poorest consume, and the poorest consume only to survive (and often recycle materials for maximum use/ minimum waste)… whereas the transnational wealthy consume frivolously, irresponsibly and ultra-extravagantly (golf, anyone? jetskis? luxury hotels? international business-oriented jet travel? island resorts? All-Terrain Vehicles? Mega-Yachts? Private planes? million-acre estates? penthouse swimming pools? fully-staffed vacation villas? Royal Palaces and related estates and preserves and hunting grounds? ET AL). Bill Gates’ annual energy-costs alone could feed a Third World City for that year. Is any of that ever mentioned in any of the Alarmist Propaganda about a “grossly overpopulated” Earth? Of course not. The planet is grossly overpopulated with billionaires but the billionaires own/ control all possible media venues for disseminating such a crucial piece of enlightenment so… yeah. I guess we’re just forced to believe and recycle absolutely illogical propaganda instead. Not.

SomeoneInAsia

As Gandhi said: There’s enough for everyone’s need , but not everyone’s greed .

I am not a Gandhi fan. There were some pretty deep contradictions in his stances. He was preaching holy poverty while staying on the grounds of Birla House, which happened to be owned by one of the wealthiest people in India. A genuine beggar would have been beaten with lathis and driven off but the rich had no problem with Gandhi. After all, he was no preacher of class conflict…

“He was preaching holy poverty while staying on the grounds of Birla House, which happened to be owned by one of the wealthiest people in India”

Oh, that was the least of Gandhi’s hypocrisies:

https://theprint.in/opinion/ramachandra-guha-is-wrong-a-middle-aged-gandhi-was-racist-and-no-mahatma/168222/

And what he did to his wife…!

Still, that’s a damn good quote: “ There’s enough for everyone’s need , but not everyone’s greed .”

Very relevant to these “Overpopulation”-obsessed times.

Most of the world is uninhabited by humans. Most of the arable land on earth is not developed and not farmed. There are solutions to all the problems we face environmentally and economically, yet the profiteers continue to create and exacerbate the problems because they are psychopaths.

The Club of Rome is sponsored by the same criminal cabal who polluted the world with heavy metals, carcinogens, radiation, filled the oceans with degrading plastics and oil spills, polluted ground water with fracking chemicals, released methane and caused earthquakes, added fluoride and microfibers from synthetic clothes to the water supply, raze forests for mining, logging and biomass, sickened and murdered children with unsafe vaccines and who are using HAARP and DEW to set fires, create hurricanes, typhoons and cause droughts.

Perhaps those who think the world is overpopulated should be the first to volunteer to help depopulate.

Captain Spock

You’re completely mistaken… The planet is an intrinsic part of the unbounded and infinite energy field and we just need to transform the parasitic dominant culture which has lost sight of the reciprocity which was cultivated by indigenous people for 10’s thousands of years… Liberate our consciousness from the limited perspective of materialistic science and the very narrow bandwidth of the 5 senses, which have led us into a fear driven culture which believes that we need to grasp and possess as much as we can to be a success and feel secure… At any cost to the environment… There is more than enough land for everybody to have a place to live and land to grow food, and the technology exists for everybody to produce their own genuinely green energy for free.

Please get help.

Who the fvck are you to come here and spew such a vile, disgusting, pathetically rehearsed propagandized bullshit in response to comments posted by real, live soul-people with spirits who are truly concerned about the plight of all people generally in this far beyond messed up Realm of Utter Darkness formerly known as the World We Lived In. The fact that you are in complete agreement with The Great Reset and its Final Solution all planned out for us by The Psychopathic Demonic Reptile People ruling over us tells me you are way out of your league here and have absolutely no business whatever trying to spread your “compassionate culling of the profane who have severely over-populated our world and drained all of its resources beyond repair while the poor Powers That Be tried to get us to stop and have been warning us for decades this was gonna happen” idiotology. Do you really BELIEVE the things you say here or are you an energy savaging shill for the NWO? How much are you paid to shill for them or do you do it just for shits and giggles? Or, DO YOU REALLY BELIEVE THE AGIT-PROP YOU DARED TO SERVE UP TO US? I expect an answer from you since you have balls huge enough to come here and tell us all we deserve to die because your Masters said so.???

If what you say is true then why haven’t you killed yourself for the good of the Earth and Humanity?

I have to say that such an attitude is sometimes present among online critics of what is going on. For example, on Unz a certain Mark Tapley refers repeatedly to “the livestock” being led up the garden path over Covid, the New World Order and so on. I have seen Tapley get interviewed on Press TV and suchlike and he is almost a caricature idea of a conspiracy theorist. It is as though Tapley despises “the livestock” for not listening to people like him, but Mr Charisma he ain’t.

“The livestock” being the same kind of language used in the Bilderberg white paper, Silent Weapons for Quiet Wars.

I’ve never heard of Tapley, but I did take a quick look at Unz about a month back after seeing someone here mention it, and determined the owner of the site was pushing false narratives such as the nation vs nation theory.

Somebody quoted from this movie, down-thread, and so I began watching it to remind myself about it. The script was written for adults in 1976, meaning it requires an IQ of 200 to watch it in 2020. What seemed merely clever, insightful and satirically hyperbolic to me then feels like a dense almanac of practical info now. If you know how to extrapolate from its nuances, the script predicted Howard Stern, it predicated CNN, it predicted Oprah, it predicted 9/11, it predicted BLM, it predicted Bezos and Gates and Obama and Trump and it predicted The Great Reset: goddam, Chayefsky was something!

…I’m beginning to think this video is a hoax, or a satire that has been copy-pasted out of context, or even a “Snopes Trap” ( “Q: is it true that there’s a video from the WEF saying we’ll all have no possessions in 2030 and be happy?” A: NOPE, JUST ANOTHER UTTERLY UNTRUSTWORTHY TROOTHER HOAX, MA’AM!”).

I’ve searched through kilometers of content on WEF Facebook (as far back as Nov 10, which took some effort) and there’s no sign of this video. If we spread this vid and it’s a hoax, that would undermine our credibility at a time during which credibility is crucial, no?

Gadget

Not sure this is a HOAX, as such. Is it published by the WEF, probably not. But does the video content reflect the views of members of WEF?

The footnote on the opening screen of “You’ll own nothing, and you’ll be happy” states “Based on the input of members of the World Economic Forum’s Global Future Councils.”

For instance number one on the list, is as linked in the article above, leads to the article on the WEF site: “Welcome to 2030. I own nothing, have no privacy, and life has never been better” from November 2016.

Pick each statement and research for that point of view on the WEF site. If the content is on the WEF site, and it’s not being misrepresented in the video, what’s the problem???

My problem is that if we frame this video as a “dramatization of material posted on the WEF site in 2016” it loses most of its power to horrify… but if it’s presented ( as it was actually presented ) as having been posted on the WEF twitter account, the presentation is undermined by deception. We have to be scrupulous and exacting in our arguments, and evidence, against a powerful Enemy which is ready, at all times, to make us appear to be ridiculous.

This disclaimer is disingenuously ambiguous: “Based on the input of members of the World Economic Forum’s Global Future Councils.” What do they mean by “input”? It implies that these members contributed directly to the video’s production.

The fake url “linking” to the “short video” is dishonest (the inference is that the video was hurriedly retracted; the fact is that it was never posted there) and gilds the lily with that Orwellian four-digit suffix, which you and I know many Dissidents will make far too much of, thinking it’s a clue of some sort:

https://twitter.com/wef/status/79963217404356 1984

The Enemy are sociopathic liars; I don’t think we should go down the Lie path at all. We won’t have a leg to stand on if we do.

It’s presented without a disclaimer over at Global Research, too:

https://www.globalresearch.ca/world-economic-forum-step-two-resetting-future-work-agenda-after-great-reset/5729175

UPDATE: I was WRONG, this vid is NOT a Hoax! Again: many thanks to GADGET for sourcing it to its original

Dephyant

Fro memory, I think it came about from the wayback machine as it was scrubbed from WEF’s own website. I think from James Corbett or another recent video by such activists. Try that. If so it will still be on there.

****************************** No Hoax ******************************

Do we now agree it’s legit?

You can edit those hoax comments now…

You’ve done me a HUGE favor and I appreciate it! The fact that this video is genuine is PERFECT! Thanks!

B Lane

How about this. We know the great reset is basically the UN Agenda 20 30 on steroids. If you have looked in to agenda 21 and agenda 20 30 the great reset is another evolution of those agendas. The WEF and the UN signed a pact to work together on this. We were called conspiracy theorists and told agenda 20 30 was a fairy tale. But, i happened to come across this. https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/agenda-2030-delivering-the-global-goals?fbclid=IwAR3-XBV2YEfgBHm5STSW2IO1I8R2LerXbBa-d3gFxpw3LVmyva3S1fd4rwk Note the Logo on the front of the document on that link. You will see most world leaders wearing a pin badge of that logo. That document is from 2017, but after the Davos meeting in 2020 our “leaders” are wearing that badge.

I’ve learned a lot on the topic since November of last year; here’s a video from Alison McDowell , going into ALL that Agenda 2030 material in great detail:

And here’s a very good anti-Blockchain comment from her Facebook page:

In preparation for an offensive siege on a city, an attacking army will prepare thoroughly. It will plan in advance many steps required to bring the opposing force’s knees to the ground. All roads leading to the city are blocked. No one can enter or leave the city. The water supply is cut off. Food, goods, medical supplies and services cannot reach the citizens of the city. All power gets shut down. Major communication systems are disabled. Life for the citizens is intolerable and in time they eventually capitulate and surrender.

Now imagine a world controlled by a small group of people with the extreme power to control the flow of goods, services and other resources around the world. They have the ability to dictate to governments around the world to impose certain health mandates. They have the power to require passes for travel. To have people locked down in their homes. They have the power to tell retailers to not honor cash nor entry into their premises if patrons are not meeting “recommended” mandates. This small group of people control the networks of commerce.

Now imagine that banks through out the world have completely transitioned to central bank digital currencies (CBDC). They issue credit (tokens) to the citizens of their respective nations. This CBDC is a smart contract (or smart currency) based on distributed autonomous organizational (DAO) blockchains. If you are a good citizen with a good social credit score and follow rules, you are allowed to purchase good and services with your newly minted digital CBDC currency.

Now imagine, you are a rebel, a freedom fighter, and have opted to not use the authoritarian currency CBDC. Instead, you have chosen to live life off the grid. You have purchased land and have invested in an array of assets such as gold, silver and cryptocurrency. Realizing that gold and silver are not easy mediums to do everyday transactions with, you have mostly invested in crypto. You are absolutely sure that your crypto is free from government interference. You have made a fortune from it and are doing the things others cannot, buy goods and services peer-to-peer. Things look good until unforeseen disaster strikes!

Your authoritarian adversaries have been preparing for you as well. They are the age-old experts of finance, psychology and warfare. And you have not been overlooked.

They have decided to lay a precise and calculated siege on you, like they have done to cities for thousands of years. They take control of all lanes, seas and roads to goods and services and place them on the blockchain. Nothing can be bought or sold unless from the supply chain they control and own, which is now all blockchain based.

They have sent out notices to all venders to reprogram their automated vending machines to only accept CBDC currency. Effectively cutting you off from buying goods and other resources.

They have gained control of the crypto exchanges by granting them bank status, but with an understanding that they must honor state regulations and mandates. Failure to honor the mandates can be a steep fine or forfeiture of license. So, the crypto exchanges follow the mandates of delisting certain coins and refusing to convert crypto currencies from one type to another or to CBDC. So if you have amassed a wealth of money with your crypto and try to convert it to CBDC, it will be rejected, as outlined by automated smart-contract DAO algorithms.

Mandates from non-governmental institutions will “ask” that business owners and home owner and rent-owners require all business be performed with CBDC only. Power and utility companies will only honor CBDC. Cloud Servers will only transact with CBDC. Failure to do so will be rewarded with a punishment and low ESG credit score.

Immediately people panic and try to sell their cryptos, and there are no buyers. No liquidity. The public cryptocurrency market panics and a melt down begins. Before the month is over, the entire independent public crypto market has collapsed, leaving people with crypto “penniless”.

No mining servers needed to be hijacked. No 51% server attack necessary. No hacking of wallets required. No hacking of hashes on the blockchain required. No nefarious forks of the chain needed. No bribing of miners. No EMPing of servers. No destruction of any equipment.

All that was needed was to lay down a siege. Block all pathways to goods. Tell ALL private-public partnerships and institutions to act in unison, and march in alignment and follow through on mandates as outlined from a class of development goals from higher up.

Over time, all transportation, agriculture, finance, tech, water resources, medicine, production lines, etc. became owned and controlled by public-private institutions. This small group was then able to lay siege on any organization or movement it deemed threatening, including the rebel crypto community by controlling the roadways to life!

With AI, surveillance, facial recognition, sound recognition, gait recognition, automated vehicles (smart cars), automated drone home delivery systems, automated vending machines, biotech surveillance, etc., there was no way to hide and avoid transactions with CBDC.

With no faith in independent public crypto, people capitulated and surrendered to CBDC and began to eat again. It was not a hard transition because the crypto supporters had already helped support and create the infrastructure needed for the technocratic world. Albeit their rations now consisted of delicious artificially flavored GMO manufactured insect patties. Full of so much protein!

The moral of the story is “the road to insect patties is blockchain”. Yuck!

Whether the WEF put it out or not it is bang on as to what they are up to so I am passing it. If people choose to fact check and they didn’t put it out hopefully they will discover this is what they are up to anyway so job done. They usually hide things in plain sight.

Mucho

They use sales tactics to spread their bile. In sales, the assumptive close is king, joined up with the ABC rule – “always be closing”. If you’re constantly assuming the sale, it will produce a good set of results, done properly. It’s a bit like predictive programming. They have questioned nothing that they do, just asserted that what they say needs to be done is the ONLY option. They’ve been using the vaccine close as a way out. Their language is all about assuming that everyone will be up for the vaccine because this use of assumption will make it feel like the most natural thing to do, when it comes around. They’re making the decision for their victims and not giving them another option. They’re certainly not qualifying their bold assertions about vaccinating everyone with warnings that these vaccines are experimental and have never before been approved due to severe safety issues. They’re just trumpeting the 90% effective lie which is based on fraud. How f***ing irresponsible is this to promote this crap and not inform people of the truth, to hide and conceal the true nature of this rubbish? The “time is running out” factor is something we should be worried about. They only have a limited time frame to sell this crap, the wheels are falling off thick and fast so they need to go for the kill asap. The fake desire to minimise covid deaths is going to be used as the excuse for the lack of safety checks and urgency to take the vaccine. You can have your freedom back. But then in the small print they say actually you won’t get it back anyway. These lowlifes are truly disgusting. Why can’t someone with money in this country take on Matt Hancock for all his lies and bullshit? What they are doing is fraudulent. We all know it. Where are the legal challenges in the UK?

Working man kills maniac toff.

Read the thrillers of Eric Ambler. He witnessed Europe as it was pitched into war in the 1930s. His novels were descriptions of the time — he saw the harm that demented billionaires can do.

Before Graham Greene, before John Le Carré, there was Eric Ambler (1908-1998, he was born after Greene but famous before). They both acknowledged him as their inspiration

Before Ambler turned the spy genre on its head, it was dominated by the psychopathic William Tufnell Le Queux, an imperial propagandist.

The unIntelligent services tried to revive Le Queux through their own man, Ian Fleming (Mi6). That is why James Bond is highly entertaining but utterly unconvincing. Bond only works as the aristocratic toff putting the plebs in their place. After Ambler, however, Fleming had to make his hero a man of the people. He was never a fit for the script.

Ambler’s best novels are those he wrote in the 1930s. He understood and explained precisely how Europe was drifting to catastrophe. The ultra-wealthy were grabbing resources, dividing people and pitching them into conflict.

Now… he was like his generation a fan of the Soviet Union at that time… Like Orwell, he was observant and was quick to turn against the Soviets — unlike most of the establishment, the journalists of the BBC and the NYT (its disgraceful and disgusting Walter Duranty) who were all slaves to the bankers who had funded the Bolsheviks in the first place.

Ambler like Orwell saw through the establishment’s lickle trick… and they attacked him bitterly for it. They are keen to portray Ambler as pro Soviet when he was never as pro as they. The establishment paints Orwell as a traitor for turning on the Labour Party.

Never forget that you are sold a crock of shit about Kim Philby. His grandfather helped install the Bolsheviks.

So cheer yourself… it is they who are insane.

I recommend: The Dark Frontier (1936) Uncommon Danger (1937), US title: Background to Danger Epitaph for a Spy (1938) (filmed as Hotel Reserve 1944) Cause for Alarm (1938) The Mask of Dimitrios (1939), US title: A Coffin for Dimitrios

And his novels that were critical of the Soviets Judgment on Deltchev (1951) The Schirmer Inheritance (1953)

I’m a bit slow today and failed to stress Ambler’s innovation: the plutocrat is not the hero; he’s the enemy.

Ambler’s hero is a not some aristocratic superman but a working stiff who finds himself thrust into the presence of a demented billionaire. He has the choice to suck money or act on conscience. He chooses the latter.

It is even more relevant today than it was in the 1930s.

rob2

Fascinating! Never heard of him but as I’m always looking for a good (honest) read, I am looking forward to settling into one of his books. Many thanks, Money Circus. I learned something new today.

“ Never forget that you are sold a crock of shit about Kim Philby. His grandfather helped install the Bolsheviks.”

And I believe that Angleton was in on it, with his close friend Philby, contrary to the popular narrative. The Cold War was a lucrative project and between the CIA and the KGB there was a third, overlapping project with the goal of keeping the simulated stakes as high as possible. Part of the task was to maintain the fearmongering-facade of a U.S.S.R. “super power” threatening “Uncle Sam and Capitalism itself,” though, of course, the only Super Power was NATO.

mgeo

Making education a farce was an important part of the overall goal. Good education is only for the children of the elite. You recommended books, but despite every more material available online, how many people read anything? Even here, some people seem unable to communicate except through videos, photos and posters – even on current matters.

What we are facing is runaway power concentration.

Power tends to concentrate. (The most obvious example is wealth.) Power can be used to gain more power, and unfortunately there are, of course, humans for whom power itself is the objective.

New technology is the literal creation of power. Technology (information), once created, cannot be destroyed. Therefore its concentration cannot be sufficiently controlled. We have reached a point where there is so much accumulated technological power, and in turn so much subsequent concentration of it, that the previously achievable pushbacks via collectives of personal power (e.g. revolutions, of all kinds) are finally being obliterated.

Most pernicious are the technologies that invade the mind : psy-ops (via language changes, propaganda, education systems, etc.), drugs, nanobots, man-machine merging, and God knows what else exists that we’ve never heard of. In fact, this is exactly how we got to where we are today.

I do not currently believe there is an escape. I’m praying, I’m begging, to be proved wrong.

Knowledge can certainly be destroyed, as in the case of ancient libraries.

Now that Gargoyle and others have amassed much of the existing knowledge, they are likely to cut off access to it for the rest of us. Paper records still pose a hindrance to this, but they are digitising as fast as they can.

Fair enough, it is possible to destroy information. But far more likely today it will be walled off, as you point out. Still, that contributes to power concentration — my primary point. We who are not powerful are unable to roll back the body/mind intrusive/controlling technologies.

If the information/knowledge is digital by nature — and most important knowledge/information today is — then an EMP (electromagnetic pulse) can destroy it all. In fact an EMP can instantly decapitate any human society overly reliant on digital technology — such as our modern world or the techno-fascist dystopias dreamt of by the madmen of the WEF.

You also need large quantities of energy resources to keep any form of sociopolitical system running, whether a techno-fascist dystopia or an ancient agrarian society. The dystopias imagined by the nutcases at WEF in particular will need cheap fossil fuels in abundant quantities to run; there are no substitutes forthcoming. And guess what: we’re running out of fossil fuels.

If Schwab’s insane fantasies are ever brought into reality, they can only be short-lived.

Good food for thought – thanks. I’ll explore those points.

Sun

This is something I have foreseen for many years. It’s why I have spent years gathering up as many important books as I possibly can.

Maybe what is required sabotage, executed by non-sociopathic members of the younger generations of the powerful, who presumably will have access to many of the levers. But that is unlikely to happen on a large scale until we pass through far more horrific times, assuming (actual) mind-reading technology is not developed soon to track these potential saboteurs from birth. It IS a grim scenario.

BREAKING: THE 1% DAVOS-THE GREEN NEW DEAL RESET AGENDA: COVID-19 pandemic hysteria is being used as the Trojan horse for a globalist agenda hatched out of the World Economic Forum in Davos. It’s called The Great Reset, and its designed by elite billionaires supposedly to bring about ‘social and economic change.’ “There is something unusual about the continuing pandemic panic,” said Australian Senator Bernardi.

“Medical experts now acknowledge that lockdowns don’t work…Now none of that makes any sense until you open your mind to consider if there is another agenda at work.” Australian Senator Bernardi also highlights the fact that many of the same scientists and institutions involved in the fraudulent over-the-top modelling of COVID deaths – are also involved in IPCC computer modeled projections of supposed future climate change. The end game of creating an illusion of a global pandemic emergency is to rapidly usher-in the introduction of a ‘Green New Deal‘ policy – where billionaires seek to restructure our capitalist system into a new ‘green economy’ – promising equality and “climate justice” along the way. Says Australian Senator Bernardi.

“And our children will live, Mr. Beale, to see that perfect world, in which there’s no war or famine, oppression or brutality. One vast and ecumenical holding company, for whom all men will work to serve a common profit, in which all men will hold a share of stock, all necessities provided, all anxieties tranquilized, all boredom amused.”

– Network (1976)

It’s not clear whether or not you agree with these words. Assuming you do… “ that perfect world, in which there’s no war or famine, oppression or brutality” Yes, you can see that perfect world in what the globalists have done to the middle east and what they are doing to us right now. Do you think “for whom all men will work to serve a common profit” includes the billionaires running the show. No, it’s communistic slavery for what’s left of mankind while the fat controllers do whatever fat controllers do…

“It’s not clear whether or not you agree with these words.”

I don’t. Probably not so many here on OG though, and not re Network ‘s Arthur Jensen. But of course people continue to believe in utopias, of one sort or another … so, point taken.

“In a  short video  showcased on social media, the WEF predicts that by 2030,  “You’ll own nothing and you’ll be happy.” This information has been removed… Wow! That must be a record.. less than 36 hours. If you were in any doubt before, that Big Brother is watching you, this has to be the incontrovertible proof.

YeahBut

Somebody uploaded a copy here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N0BPRn5KbAg

Unfortunately, I can’t find any evidence that the WEF actually produced and released that video. It mirrors material they posted in an essay, on the WEF site in 2016… but this new video may well be a hoax. I’d love for someone to come up with confirmation that it can be sourced to WEF.

GADGET did the legwork and sourced this preposterous (and damning) video to WEF!

It must have been important Yeahbut, because the Goons have removed it….

Is there any chance it was uploaded to Bitchute? Send it me if it was please.

Something extremely bogus is going on, said Elon Musk [He] Was tested for covid four times today. Two tests came back negative, two came back positive. Same machine, same test, same nurse. Rapid antigen test from BD.

That’s available from his twitter page.

We can conclude, ‘Rapid antigen test’ provides ‘fair and balanced’ reporting: 50-50.

Our new psychopathic protectors are not pure evil. Only 50% evil. We should be able to sleep 50% well tonight.

Musk’s one redeeming feature is his tendency to speak a little too freely.

I wonder if Twitter is going to censor him?

Tomorrow: Musk recants The day after tomorrow: Musk confirms he didn’t recant

This COVID testing sounds like a real lark. Maybe you are and maybe you ain’t and even if you are, you don’t know what that means. In out, in out, shake it all about. Of course the beauty of this us that it gives yet another opportunity for the MSM to keep talking about COVID and ratcheting up the fear through confusion. At which point the left arm of the pincer movement comes in and complains about incompetence, adding, as always, that the true figures are at least a hundred times greater.

Bob the Hod

The true figures are at least a hundred times greater but if you question the true figures the other way you are a dangerous conspiracy theorist.

All bases covered.

Maybe the little twerp could review this study: > 5G Technology and induction of coronavirus in skin cells

https://scienceintegritydigest.files.wordpress.com/2020/07/fioranelli.pdf

Excerpted from the closing discussion: >

DISCUSSION “Our results show that, by decreasing the wavelength, waves emitted from towers in 5G and higher technologies could have more effect on evolutions of DNAs within cells. This is because dermatologic cell membranes act as an antenna for these waves. They are built from charged particles, such as electrons and atoms, and could emit or receive waves. On the other hand, an antenna could only take waves in which their lengths are not greater than its size. Thus, a cell membrane could take millimeter waves in 5G technology. These waves could pass the membrane and interact with biological matters within a cell. If wavelengths of 5G waves be equal or less than the size of a nucleus, they can pass the nuclear membrane and interact with DNAs. These DNAs are built from hexagonal and pentagonal bases and, by their motions, some holes emerge. These holes are filled by hexagonal and pentagonal extra bases which are constructed by cells. These bases could join to each other and form some viruses such as Coronavirus. It is concluded that in the next generation of mobile technology, emitted waves of towers will have more effects on biological cells. In this research, we have shown that new generation mobile technology, like 5G, could have the main role in constructing various types of viruses, such as Coronaviruses, within a cell. “

This is linked to this research. Skin as an antennae for millimeter waves

Science without heart centred consciousness is truly dangerous.

Musk says he won’t take the vax. Musk says the covid test is bunkum. Musk, like him or loathe him, is a well known character. Surely, these comments are to be welcomed. If not, we’ve lost the plot.

It’s always worth remembering that within elite power structures there are constant battles going on, the elite aren’t a monolithic entity who all agree with each other and work together. They are psychopaths who will stab each other in the back without a second thought if they think it will benefit them personally. As such, their views and actions occasionally align with those held by ordinary people, at least those capable of critical thought. Naturally some of the normies will follow, and maybe that’ll lead some to wake up, maybe even for good, and that has to be a good thing and to be welcomed.

But the psychopath will still be a psychopath, an enemy of the ordinary person, unless they are next in line to be stabbed in the back/driven off the road in a tunnel/poisoned via a cup of tea.

It’s good to know your enemy.

I wonder why he’s being allowed to play this weird controlled opposition role. Vaccine bad but Neuralink good?

Did they do away with Kary Mullis so he would not be around to protest the complete misuse of the PCR process? Would not surprise me.

So the disabled are dying from COVID at a rate 6 times higher than the rest:

https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/health-54924121

But hang on:

https://www.hsj.co.uk/coronavirus/unprecedented-number-of-dnr-orders-for-learning-disabilities-patients/7027480.article

I.e. DNRs have been signed for the “expendable” disabled who are not likely to get vital medical attention because of the 10 covid corpse deep NHS hospitals. Oddly enough I don’t recall being told this on that breathless TV news item last night. After all, it may have cast an ever so slight doubt on the veracity of the covid death count – indeed ALL COVID death counts.

So now we have a bit of background to Jon Snow’s sadistic interview with last night’s disabled woman.

Decoded, that exchange goes like this:

Snow: “According to our criminally reckless COVID counts, you lot are 6 times more likely to die horribly!”

Disabled woman: “Did they all die of COVID?”

Snow: “Sure whatever. But the point is that they DIED HORRIBLY and (mumbles) almost certainly (normal voice) of COVID. Now HOW DO YOU FEEL ABOUT THAT?”

Disabled woman breaks down into an inconsolable wail.

Snow: “I’m sorry but you’re not answering my question.” (Pokes her with stick) “Let me help you. Would you say you feel utterly hopeless or suicidal?”

Disabled woman dissolves into shivering wreck.

Snow to camera: “Can we get a close up of her face please?” (to woman) “And how do you feel about the next lockdown? And the one after that?”

And the headline from the mainstream Left: “DISABLED DYING IN EVEN GREATER NUMBERS DUE TO INCOMPETENCE ! MEDIA SAYS 6 TIMES GREATER BUT THE FIGURE IS ACTUALLY 100 TIMES MORE!”

Mainstream Left starts to prepare it’s own poking sticks.

crank

Those who saw themselves so virtuous in by defining their politics as ranged against the politics of eugenics past, now seamlessly morph into advocates for today’s state killing. The Great Mind Machine can reliably get the majority to do pretty much anything its programmers want, such is the power of herd conformity instinct and fear. It could get them to eat their own shit, or fuck their own pets, to worship housebricks or dance themselves to death….we will see more horror before we check out.

But 99% of people won’t even know what a DNR is

Nevermind that it’s being abused and used at a higher level in its entirety.

Clown college dropout dunce class lesson 1.

The key point is that these are disabled people IN CARE HOMES. Thus they are sitting ducks for the NHS eugenics programme. Like the elderly, we may never find out what they were sick with/ how they died. But they were locked in and they couldn’t run away. Once they were slapped with a DNR notice there was no escape.

@ Moneycircus, What will happen to the “Geese laying the Golden Eggs”…. If they knock all of them off, where will their money stream come from? I can’t see the Care Home owners being too well pleased with that idea?

I could never understand why the elderly were in those places to begin with. Why dump your “inconvenient” elderly into those hellholes, then complain about getting exactly what you paid for? A place to dump your family member to die, that’s all those places are and everyone knows it. If you cared about your family they wouldn’t be there. My sympathies are with the elderly victims and not their vile family members.

At least TPTB haven’t made a secret of their plans – it’s all out in the open and our future is already predetermined. The 99% have no way of resisting this progression as we don’t hold the power. So what is an individual to do?

The Covid scamdemic is the first pass into our dystopian world and this article at OffG the other day offers good advice on how not to engage with the Davos crowd: https://off-guardian.org/2020/09/22/covid-world-resist/ Worth another read as a reminder of Iain Davis’s excellent advice.

You have to hand it to them. All the predictive programming All the billions spent in Hollywood sublimating our subconscious with joy of the future We should all have a vaccine party in our neighborhoods. I’m sure the the hired goons/stasi/gestapo wouldn’t break up that kind of celebration would they?!

They might even report back and the lunatics in the open air asylum are coming around to their willingness to embrace their enslavement.

To sum it up, the great specialist in slavery, the Jamaican Orlando Petterson, professor at Harvard, states: “Slavery has existed from the beginning of human history until the 20th century (21st), in the most primitive societies and also in the most advanced ones” (cf. L. Gomes, Escravidão , p.65).   What reasons led to slavery? To this day no explanation has proved convincing. But we can explore some reasons, albeit all of them precarious. https://www.alainet.org/en/articulo/204441

“Why is it no longer satisfactory to be human”

With all due respect to people of Judeo-Christrian faith, I’m afraid that the predicament we’re in stems from the Bible. It expressly instructs man to have dominion over the world, to be the master of the Universe, to reshape it to suit him. A pretty stupid instruction, if you ask me, God should have known that man is a dimwit liable to fuck up whatever he lays his handsy hands on. Makes one wonder how much sense the book makes in the first place.

Our civilization has been on course toward what we’re experiencing for millennia. Instead of focusing inward and coming to terms with himself and his environment, man is focused outward, on transforming the world around him to cater to his increasingly atrophying ability to survive. There are other bizarre factors, such as the rejection of sexuality in the occidental world as something dirty, which extends to the entire bodily existence. The occidental man is not in sync with his own body; there is a constant struggle between the body and soul due to various fucked up aspects of the underlying ideology of our existence.

No wonder that technological development is extending into the very essence of human existence. Hard to say what the psychopaths have in mind as regards the plan for transforming the few selected humans into humanoid android covidians, but it clearly has its basis in the insatiable urge to meddle with nature, as per God’s highly injudicious instructions.

Regarding the Bible, it’s worse than merely instructing humans over nature. It expressly instructs the hoi polloi to leave everything up to a tiny set, the self-selected masters and scripture-writers. Back then it was represented, of course, by their genius hologram, which they call “God”:

“[Y]ou must not eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, for when you eat from it you will certainly die.” [Genesis 2:17, New International Version]

Now, it’s “the Science says”, where “science” is not represented by the settling over time of a cacophony of opinions about reality, but by self-selected individuals who have clawed, lied, raped, and killed their way to the top of the political food chain.

Come to think about it, humans are the only creatures incapable of surviving in their natural habitat. We need science and consequently technologies for the mere survival. That makes us vastly inferior to any random animal, any other living being. The only thing that makes our existence worthy in any way is to create abstract artifacts, works of art. And science insofar as it’s not used to fuck something up. Anyway, art is pretty much the only thing that matters. The rest – all these inane technologies, from the wheel to the smartphone, are no more than crutches we need to sustain our pitiful existence. The best way out is to construct a time machine, go back, a kill the stupid orangutan (the Klaus Schwab of yestermillenium) who tricked the other apes to come off the trees and become humans. Were it not for that ambitious dimwit, we could have been living happily, eating bananas, bathing in the sun, oblivious to horseshit like (alleged) viruses, vaccines.

“There are other bizarre factors, such as the rejection of sexuality in the occidental world as something dirty … The occidental man is not in sync with his own body; there is a constant struggle between the body and soul due to various fucked up aspects of the underlying ideology of our existence”

You have cited what Suicide Prevention* studies couldn’t determine as the main reason that drives people to commit suicide. They figured out after numerous studies that relationship breakdown and economic ruin as strong factors, but your objective analysis offers them more insight into the oppressive conditioning the [mainstream] society is suffering from. Yes, the conservative oppression stems from the church/religious dominion that continues to dominate most people’s brain to this day.

It is in realty a mainstream conditioning supported and promoted by A GOVERNING CABAL THAT DOESNT APPLY ANY OF IT TO THEMSELVES . They know well how to use this indoctrination as a tool to control the masses. And they go to extreme measures to protect their private beliefs and practices and do their best to punish whistleblowers.

(* Yes, there is a suicide pandemic in western countries. The main reason for not reporting incidents is to prevent copycats)

Japan has the highest rate of suicide in the developed world. Can’t blame that on religion or conservatism.

Insightful overview of what the WEF and their cohorts have lined up for us (though the Davos jamboree where they will dot the i’s and cross the t’s on the Great Reset has had to postponed until the early summer, ironically, “due to COVID”. Talk about a self-inflicted wound!

Well, fuck the spam check, if this site wants to remain credible.

Rather optimistic prediction for the Eloi, though, isn’t it? The Eloi will be the sun-kissed, leisure-intoxicated, nature-loving RULERS with plenty of space and we SERFS will be the cooped-up, crap-eating, vitamin-D-deficient Morlocks with our daily rhythms regimented by sirens.

Instead I’m going to name Mick and Keith.

They first met each other in a bus shelter in Dartford.

They used to drink in the same pub as me in Bexley Village (The Railway Tavern).

Keith should have really stayed on his hammock . It’s totally embarrassing when aging rock stars do this.

I used this is my latest blog post (or the one before it; they blur together). A good complement to it would be an article by Jeremy Loffredo (Children’s Health Defense) titled “World Economic Forum’s ‘Great Reset’ Plan for Big Food Benefits Industry, Not People.” I was so impressed with it that I used the website’s feedback option, for corrections, to simply say that I was very impressed with Jeremy’s excellent article and that I thought it was one of the most important, clear and illuminating articles about the Great Reset to be written since the hoax got underway.

Well, I don’t seem to be getting anywhere here.

First thing is that this is not some James Bond conspiracy. There ain’t any bad dude sitting in a secret base somewhere (usually a cave of some sort).

Where did this idea come from that playing a pop song is going to make things better…?

That’s actually part of what deadens our senses to the sickening truth of what is going on. A nice, easy, comfortable guitar rhythm, while we sway our hips and move our arms around – anything to avoid thinking about exactly how we’re going to stop these “not very clever people” (I certainly agree about that description, by the way).

But I don’t think of it as particularly clever of them to make large numbers of people buy into their b/s. It really just takes a cheap pamphlet outlining the things in life which are notorious for being addictive, then deciding to make a career out of introducing people to them – exactly like a drug dealer.

And at the very least, given the scale of this atrocity, we ought to make sure that any punishment meted out to these traitors and monsters is also in line with what the drug dealers get.

Financing any work of art is relatively risky. The producers, directors, studio managers, patrons, etc. are conduits for propaganda money. Governments no longer bother to pretend that they eschew propaganda. Over years, the productions influence at least some of the public.

pop culture, the sexual revolution, fake politics, fake democracy, identity politics are all psyops designed to replace tradition and natural law thus weakening the herd for it’s final extinction. if the fools here want to reminisce about their feel good pap and its stuntifying effect I suggest this quote from frank zappa {a real artist].

“The illusion of freedom will continue as long as it’s profitable to continue the illusion. At the point where the illusion becomes too expensive to maintain, they will just take down the scenery, they will pull back the curtains, they will move the tables and chairs out of the way and you will see the brick wall at the back of the theater.” also dave mcgowan’s books on the cia creation of counterculture in laurel canyon.

Agree with some of that, especially the last bit. But in these times, especially music helps and has inspired me with ideas on many occasions. Rather than deadening senses, the opposite. At the least a relief. We all need a break from this from time to time.

And remember perhaps its freedom to enjoy and preserve music, the arts and dance which we are defending.

[ANALYSIS] How blog on ‘owning nothing and being happy’ became focus of disinformation campaign

Own nothing, be happy. You might have heard the phrase. It started life as a screenshot, culled from the internet by an anonymous anti-semitic account on the image board 4chan. “Own nothing, be happy – The Jew World Order 2030”, said the post, which went viral among extremists.

How did an anonymous anti-semitic account turn a years-old headline into a meme for the Far Right, and a slogan picked up by mainstream conservative politicians? And what’s the truth behind that “own nothing and be happy” headline?

The story begins in 2016, with the publication of an opinion piece on the World Economic Forum’s Agenda website by Danish MP, Ida Auken, “Welcome to 2030: I own nothing, have no privacy, and life has never been better.” It is the reference for a social media video entitled “8 Predictions for the World in 2030.”

It was part of an essay series intended to spark debate about socio-economic developments – this was the time of the booming “app” economy, and the commissioning editor – hardly a radical – had previously worked for Britain’s conservative-leaning Telegraph . The piece gained a respectable readership and lived quietly on the Forum’s website for a number of years. The video notched up 9,900 reactions and 766,000 views on Facebook .

[ANALYSIS] What would a law on disinformation look like?

Fast-forward four years to 2020. The world looked very different. A global pandemic was raging and the World Economic Forum launched “ The Great Reset,” promoting the idea of “building back better” out of the pandemic so that economies could emerge greener and fairer post-COVID-19.

The pandemic magnified many societal ills. The mistrust in governments and leaders that had been building before played into the hands of both fringe groups and state-sponsored actors looking to undermine and weaken rivals. Both came together on the anonymous dark web in places like 4chan’s “politically incorrect” image board.

The board, which is completely unmoderated, was also used by operators of a Russian propaganda campaign, active since 2014. The intent was apparently to spread disinformation in a bid to stir Far Right outrage about COVID-19 and perpetuate domestic extremism. The means was often via bots that would push a Far Right conspiracy theory to communities on boards such as 4chan.

Recent analysis explains how this context brought extremists together “ using rhetoric that trivialized National Socialism and the Holocaust .” This same Far Right, Holocaust-denying cohort latched onto “The Great Reset,” claiming that the Forum was part of a group that “orchestrated the pandemic to take control of the global economy.”

A number of threads appeared in this vein, dedicated to the Great Reset. One such 4chan thread linked the pandemic, the alleged nefarious control that the Forum exercises over the global economy, and the idea that “You’ll own nothing and be happy.”

It went truly viral, capturing the warped imagination of conspiracy and fringe groups. One neo-Nazi and white supremacist website claimed the Great Reset was a “response to the coronavirus faked crisis” and would usher in “global communism” to ensure “no one will be able to own anything.”

world economic forum agenda 2030 you'll own nothing essay

Its popularity also saw more mainstream figures “dog-whistle” the phrase while ignoring its anti-semitic and Far Right origins. Threads proliferated, the catchphrase “own nothing be happy” snowballed, and even more mainstream news sites, including Fox News, Sky News Australia, and GB News embraced it.

Russell Brand talked about it in a video that received more than 1.8 million views on Facebook.

Pierre Polievre, a Canadian MP who was the former Minister for Democratic Reform, used it to discredit Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s government, giving rise to a national movement.

The campaign has similarly infected the Dutch political landscape, long targeted by Russian disinformation actors.

In the Netherlands alone, during June 2020, there were an average of 1.5 posts per day mentioning the “Great Reset” among Dutch-speaking communities on Facebook. By October, this grew to an average of 6.3 posts per day and by December, this had more than doubled to 13.6 posts per day.

By January 2021, the figures doubled yet again with an average of 28 posts per day.

world economic forum agenda 2030 you'll own nothing essay

Reuters Fact Check concluded in February 2021, “The World Economic Forum does not have a stated goal to have people ‘own nothing and be happy’ by 2030.”

But the trolling continues.

Trolls on Twitter and Facebook, for instance, have spread doctored content to promote the falsehood that, through the Great Reset, the World Economic Forum is advancing pernicious depopulation efforts. These include racist conspiracies that claim white people are the primary target for depopulation. Bad faith actors have also targeted the Forum’s coverage of the circular economy (economic systems that aim to eliminate waste by reusing raw materials rather than disposing of them), decrying it as a “ top-down agenda ” coming from “unelected globalists looking to reshape the world in their image.” These are just some examples amongst many.

As far back as 2013, the World Economic Forum’s annual Global Risks Report flagged disinformation as a concern, warning then that disinformation could spark “digital wildfires” in our hyper-connected world.

Today, that warning has largely been born out. Disinformation is a serious challenge for regulators, a minefield for individuals who seek the facts, and a barrier to governments and organizations wanting to disseminate important information.

The consequences of unabated disinformation are dangerous. Disinformation concerning COVID-19 and vaccines cost lives during the pandemic . The revelations around the 2021 Capitol Hill riot reveal how false information around elections can threaten the foundations of democracy. 68% of Americans agree, saying “made-up news is detrimental to the country’s democratic system.”

Moreover, the amount of data now generated, predicted to nearly quadruple by 2025 , makes it easier and cheaper to use algorithms for malicious or manipulative purposes with unprecedented efficiency, speed, and reach.

“It is important to recognize that misinformation/disinformation is a tactic used to support an oftentimes political strategy. There are a variety of ways that bad information circulates for political gain. A classic example is for an actor to intentionally disseminate false, inaccurate, or misleading information that inflicts demonstrable and significant public harm,” said Steven Feldstein, a senior fellow at the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace. “Another set of tactics involve trolling and harassment, probably the most common form of misinformation directed against the Forum. Trolling and harassment entail deliberately posting offensive content online in order to provoke or disrupt conversations.”

The story of “You’ll own nothing and be happy” is anything but trivial and offers valuable insights into how disinformation is created and why it’s essential not to perpetuate its spread.

It also highlights how disinformation derails free speech. At the request of Ida Auken, the Forum removed all the media around her piece because of the abuse and threats that she had faced online. Action to prevent lies being accepted as truth can help avoid similar situations and promote genuine free speech, allowing us all to freely exchange ideas and opinions.

In a world where the trolls win, more forward-thinking conversations like the one Auken tried to initiate will be tarnished. – Rappler.com

The World Economic Forum is not planning to seize control of everything through ‘the Great Reset’

If your time is short.

  • The World Economic Forum and ‘the Great Reset’ have long been at the center of conspiracy theories. But there’s no evidence the forum is planning to seize people’s possessions globally.

Social media users are again sounding the alarm about "the Great Reset," which they say is a plan by global elites to seize control of everything.

A Sept. 27 Instagram post describes the World Economic Forum’s "plan to control us." It says one of the forum’s "predictions is that by 2030: ‘You will own nothing & be happy.’"

"‘But why would the elites want a world like this?’" the post asks.

"Simple. If you own nothing, they own everything," it says. "They can take anything away from you when they want. And we won’t have freedom."

The post claims "the Great Reset is coming" and urges people to "protect" themselves.

Multiple posts making this claim have been shared recently on Instagram. These posts were flagged as part of Meta’s efforts to combat false news and misinformation on its News Feed. (Read more about our partnership with Meta , which owns Facebook and Instagram.)

The World Economic Forum and "the Great Reset" have long been at the center of conspiracy theories. The forum is a prominent international nongovernmental organization that engages political, cultural and business leaders in building regional and global agendas. But the forum has never advocated for a global takeover, and there’s no evidence it wants to abolish private ownership of goods and property.

This claim that the World Economic Forum wants to take control of people’s possessions likely originates from a 2016 Facebook video , which listed eight predictions for the world in 2030. The first one said, "You will own nothing and be happy. Whatever you want you’ll rent and it’ll be delivered by drone."

Danish politician Ida Auken wrote this prediction in 2016. The corresponding article has since been removed from the World Economic Forum’s website, but in an archived version , Auken explains that this is not her "utopia or dream of the future." The author’s note also says that she "wrote this piece to start a discussion about some of the pros and cons of the current technological development."

A few years later, at the COVID-19 pandemic’s onset, the World Economic Forum proposed a set of policy ideas it referred to as "the Great Reset." But it has since been hijacked by conspiracy theorists.

The theory’s believers saw the World Economic Forum’s proposal as proof that "global elites want to use the coronavirus as a tool to reorganize global societies and economies to their benefit at the expense of ordinary people, with the ultimate goal of a global totalitarian regime," according to the Anti-Defamation League . However, this conspiracy theory has been widely debunked .

We rate the claim that World Economic Forum "elites" are pushing the Great Reset, which aims to control people by taking all their possessions, False.

The ‘Great Reset’

By: Aoife Gallagher and Ciarán O’Connor

Misconceptions around the ‘Great Reset’, a World Economic Forum (WEF) initiative launched in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, have become a mainstay of conspiracy thinking in recent years, claiming government overreach and tying the proposed plan to other extremist narratives.

  _________________________________________________________________________________

Origin of the ‘Great Reset’ and related misconceptions

The Great Reset is the name of a WEF initiative launched in June 2020 in response to economic and social conditions stemming from the COVID-19 pandemic. The call-to-action plan encouraged governments to steer markets towards fairer outcomes for societies, to rethink capital investment in order to help advance common goals such as sustainability, and use technology in support of society’s best interests.

As an influential lobbying organisation, WEF membership includes many of the world’s most powerful individuals, from the CEOs of major corporations to political leaders, journalists and celebrities. Its mission is to “shape global, regional and industry agendas,” according to its website. Historically, it has been criticised for expressing concern about issues such as global poverty and global warming, while allegedly doing little to alleviate them.

While there are valid reasons to pay attention to the activities of the WEF, its association with elites, as well as its clear intention to influence and change the world, has made it prime fodder for conspiracy theorists. The launch of the Great Reset proposal in the middle of the pandemic provided yet another matter for conspiracists to take issue with. The initiative did not feature any specific programmes or actions to be undertaken at a global level in order to achieve the goals outlined, and this broad, vague approach left it open to interpretation by all, including conspiracists. The ‘conspiracy smoothie’

The global pandemic directly contributed to a global rise in conspiracy theorising. The ‘Great Reset’, a conspiracy theory which takes the same name as the WEF initiative, quickly became one of the most popular narratives in various countries. The conspiracy drew on the original plan, linking it to the WEF and its founder, Klaus Schwab, while incorporating other conspiracies to adapt to different national contexts.  It was less a singular conspiracy theory and more a “conspiracy smoothie,” as writer Naomi Klein put it. The core conspiratorial theme is that Schwab and the WEF are acting as a Machiavellian hidden hand, orchestrating COVID-19 lockdowns and other public health measures in order to achieve their own sinister goals. These purported goals differ somewhat in various versions of the conspiracy theory. In some cases it’s about bringing about economic collapse, in others about establishing Marxist or socialist authoritarian rule, and at times it is linked to a vision of a corporate capitalist surveillance dystopia.

Event 201 , a disaster response exercise simulating a fictional pandemic that was run in 2019 , has often been pointed to as proof of the WEF’s sinister plan . The exercise was hosted by John Hopkins Center for Health Security, in partnership with the WEF and the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. Event 201 then became enmeshed with the wider conspiratorial claims about the Great Reset initiative to claim that the pandemic was orchestrated by elites to control the world.

The WEF’s Great Reset initiative also became interwoven with similar long-standing conspiratorial themes including those related to a supposed New World Order ; or claims associated with Agenda 2030 , part of the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals. The initiative has also been adapted to propagate denial and scepticism about the realities of climate change. In this case, it has been used to frame global warming as part of a plot devised to destroy capitalism. According to this narrative, climate action is really meant to control what we own and eat, and ultimately impose totalitarian rule. Narratives mentioning the Great Reset in the run-up to COP27 linked the conspiracy to the energy and cost of living crises, claiming the current situation had been deliberately provoked to facilitate state control.

A phrase that is often used to support the conspiracy that the WEF is planning to strip people of their liberties, possessions and private property is: “You’ll own nothing. And you’ll be happy.” This originates from a 2016 WEF video and a subsequent series of articles by members of the forum’s Global Future Council where they made predictions about what the world would look like in 2030. It included statements like “we won’t transplant organs, we’ll print new ones instead” and “you’ll eat much less meat,” but it was the contribution of Danish MP Ida Auken that grabbed the most attention. Writing from a city in an imaginary future, Auken described a world where technological advancements had made transport, accommodation and food free. “Welcome to the year 2030,” she said. “I don’t own anything. I don’t own a car. I don’t own a house. I don’t own any appliances or any clothes … Everything you considered a product has now become a service.”

Image 1: Russell Brand talks about the Great Reset on his YouTube channel.

Image 1: Russell Brand talks about the Great Reset on his YouTube channel.

Auken later tried to clarify that the blog wasn’t her idea of a utopia or a dream future; it was simply a scenario “showing where we could be heading – for better and for worse.” Her blog was summed up in promotional videos as, “you’ll own nothing. And you’ll be happy.” It eventually made its way through online conspiracy communities as alleged evidence of the WEF’s master plan. How the Great Reset conspiracy ties in with extremism There is evidence that the Great Reset conspiracy has become increasingly popular among right-wing extremist communities online, focussing on the supposed related threats. In some white supremacist communities online, ISD has observed discussions that use the Great Reset as a byword to promote antisemitism and code slurs with parentheses to reference Klaus Schwab or the WEF: (((Klaus Schwab))), (((WEF))). Among right-wing extremists communities online, this messaging implies negative, antisemitic connotations about Schwab and the WEF, accusing them of conspiring with others to secretly control the world. In some communities, violence is encouraged against them on this basis.

Image 2: Image that falsely claims Klaus Schwab is descended from the Rothschild family, implying he is a part of sinister Jewish conspiracy

The Great Reset has also been a motivating factor toward violence in some cases. In October 2021, the neo-fascist Forza Nuova group took part in violent anti-vaccination protests in Rome and targeted a hospital emergency room as part of their fight against the Great Reset and the country’s green pass (COVID-19 vaccination certificate). Spread of the Great Reset conspiracy ISD has tracked the spread of conspiracy theories regarding the Great Reset from the beginning. After the WEF initiative was launched on 3 June 2020, the first video describing the call-to-action as a “New World Order power grab” was posted four days later on alt-tech video platform Bitchute. The video has since been viewed over 100,000 times. Towards the end of June, an op-ed written by Justin Hawkins of the Heartland Institute, a leading climate change-denying think tank, was published on Fox News , in which he wrote the Great Reset’s “socialist outline is clear: destroy the global capitalist economy and reform the Western world.” By November 2020, conspiratorial narratives concerning the Great Reset started to attract wider attention online again when a mixture of leading Canadian and American right-wing and far-right media figures published videos portraying it as a liberal, left-wing, globalist power grab. Figures and organisations like Tucker Carlson and Laura Ingraham (both of Fox News), Ben Shapiro , Glenn Beck and Breitbart News , among others, all began to produce content framing the Great Reset as a power grab by liberal elites to usher in a new world order.

Internationally, the spread of the Great Reset conspiracy theory has been aided primarily by right-wing and far-right media and political figures. Whether it’s Pauline Hanson’s One Nation party in Australia; the AfD in Germany or Carla Zambelli , a pro-Bolsonaro politician in Brazil; the ‘Great Reset’ became a new boogieman for many on the right to cry foul over. The influence of prominent local figures in helping to seed and amplify this conspiracy is also clear. In a research project released in January 2021 , ISD explored how Thierry Baudet, the leader of the populist right-wing Forum for Democracy party in the Netherlands, mainstreamed the conspiracy and used it to target Prime Minister Mark Rutte ahead of the country’s elections in March of that year. Baudet posted about the Great Reset on Facebook in January 2021, leading to a 94% increase in wider discussions about the conspiracy within the country in the period immediately afterwards, effectively helping to bring the conspiracy theory to whole new audiences.

Conspiratorial interpretations concerning the Great Reset have not been confined to right-wing figures either. Russell Brand , a comedian-turned-YouTuber with over six million subscribers, whose history of political commentary and activism has more often supported left-wing positions regarding various issues or elections, has produced more than 20 videos about the Great Reset, most often framing it as an elitist power grab. The Great Reset conspiracy has become significantly popular online. On Facebook (pages and public groups), from June 2020 to January 2023, there have been over 260,000 posts that mentioned the Great Reset. On TikTok , videos tagged with the hashtag #GreatReset have been viewed 245 million times at the time of publishing.

Everything is connected Millions of people have now been exposed to the Great Reset conspiracy in one form or another. What started off as a right-wing reactionary response to the WEF’s aspirational call-to-action to rethink how governments, corporations and technology can better serve society, has now been blended into a misleading and highly adaptable conspiracy. The initial claims first aired in the US and Canada have now spread across the globe and become useful fodder for radical or fringe political figures, as well as online content creators seeking higher viewership and/or subscribers. Mainstream, as well as less-popular, social media platforms have largely taken a hands-off approach to addressing or removing misleading and false claims related to the WEF initiative. The WEF’s lack of detail about how to implement the Great Reset and – following the conspiratorial backlash – failure to issue any public rebuttals, statements or counter measures to dispel such conspiratorial notions, has given more nefarious actors a wide range of ammunition to further distort the narrative around the Great Reset. At the time of writing, conspiratorial claims concerning ‘15 minute cities’ are spreading rapidly online, largely drawing on the Great Reset conspiracy and so-called ‘ climate lockdowns ’. For conspiracists, everything tends to be connected. When it comes to the Great Reset, a lofty plan to reset the world’s economy designed by highly influential elites in governments and corporations, makes for an attractive theory. Away from the clicks, likes and shares however, the Great Reset conspiracy remains a narrative that has empowered extremists and other opportunists and it’s impossible to know what may follow in its wake.

What Did The W.E.F Mean By: “You Will Own Nothing And Be Happy, By 2030”

The collaboration between the World Health Organization (WHO) and the World Economic Forum (WEF) in shaping the global agenda for 2030 has sparked intense debates and speculation. This partnership, aimed at “addressing global health challenges” and “fostering economic development” has raised eyebrows due to the inclusion of controversial statements such as “You will own nothing and you will be happy.” In this article, we delve into the plans outlined in Agenda 2030, examine prevailing theories, and explore why some people harbor concerns about the future.

Agenda 2030 “official” Goals: The joint initiative between WHO and WEF in Agenda 2030 revolves around achieving sustainable development, with a primary focus on health and economics. The goals include eradicating poverty, ensuring good health and well-being, and promoting inclusive economic growth. While the intentions seem noble, critics argue that the means to achieve these objectives may have profound implications for individual rights and freedoms.

world economic forum agenda 2030 you'll own nothing essay

One of the most controversial aspects of Agenda 2030 is the quote “You will own nothing and you will be happy,” attributed to the WEF. This phrase has fueled speculation and concern about potential shifts in property ownership and individual autonomy. Critics fear that it may indicate a move toward a more collectivist society, where personal property rights could be sacrificed for the sake of a perceived greater good.

Here are some bullet points elaborating on why people might have valid concerns:

  • Critics argue that the statement suggests a potential erosion of individual autonomy and the right to make personal choices about property ownership.
  • Surrendering the ability to own property may be perceived as a significant infringement on personal freedom and decision-making.
  • Concerns arise about the promotion of a more collectivist societal model, where individual rights and ownership are sacrificed in favor of a communal approach.
  • Traditional democratic values often emphasize the importance of protecting individual liberties, and a shift towards collectivism may be seen as incompatible with these principles.
  • The phrase “You will be happy” raises questions about how happiness is defined in this context and who gets to decide what constitutes happiness.
  • Critics argue that a top-down definition of happiness imposed by external entities may not align with diverse individual perspectives and values.
  • The idea of relinquishing personal property rights raises concerns about an increased level of control by governing bodies or powerful entities.
  • Critics fear that a shift towards a society where property ownership is limited could create conditions ripe for authoritarian control, limiting dissent and individual expression.
  • Skepticism surrounds the practicality of redistributing wealth and resources to create a more equal society.
  • Critics argue that forced redistribution may lead to economic inefficiencies and disincentivize innovation and productivity.
  • Some worry that a reduction in personal ownership may stifle entrepreneurship and innovation, as the traditional motivation of personal gain and ownership diminishes.
  • A shift away from a society that values individual ownership could potentially discourage risk-taking and initiative.
  • In the absence of clear details on how the vision of “owning nothing” would be implemented, concerns arise about potential social discontent and resistance.
  • Historically, attempts to limit personal freedoms and property rights have often been met with resistance from individuals who value these liberties.
  • The lack of transparency in the planning process for Agenda 2030 contributes to concerns, as individuals and communities are left with uncertainty about how these changes may impact their lives.

In summary, the concerns surrounding the quote from Agenda 2030 reflect anxieties about the potential consequences of a shift away from individual ownership and autonomy. The debate underscores the delicate balance between addressing global challenges and safeguarding fundamental principles of democracy and personal freedom.

world economic forum agenda 2030 you'll own nothing essay

Several theories have emerged regarding the true intentions behind Agenda 2030. Some view it as a “well-intentioned effort to address pressing global issues collaboratively” Others, however, speculate that the agenda might be a veiled attempt to consolidate power among a select few, potentially infringing upon individual freedoms and property rights. The lack of transparency in the planning process has contributed to the proliferation of such theories.

Let’s look at the Concerns and the Well-Intentioned Efforts in more detail:

  • Concern: Critics worry that Agenda 2030 may serve as a vehicle for consolidating power among a select few, potentially leading to an oligarchic system that undermines democratic principles.
  • Counterpoint: Proponents argue that collaborative global governance is essential to address challenges that transcend national borders, emphasizing the need for unified efforts.
  • Concern: Skepticism surrounds the possibility that the agenda could infringe upon individual freedoms, especially in terms of property rights. The fear is that centralized decision-making may dictate how individuals use their resources.
  • Counterpoint: Supporters argue that collective decision-making is necessary to tackle global issues effectively, emphasizing the need for coordinated action to address challenges like climate change and poverty.
  • Concern: The lack of transparency in the planning process raises suspicions about hidden motives and undisclosed agendas. Critics argue that the absence of clear information allows for speculation and fosters mistrust.
  • Counterpoint: Advocates acknowledge the need for improved transparency but argue that the complexity of global governance requires a careful balance between openness and the confidentiality required for effective decision-making.
  • Concern: Some theorists express concerns that the collaborative effort might inadvertently favor the interests of a global elite, further exacerbating socio-economic disparities.
  • Counterpoint: Supporters contend that the intention is to create inclusive policies that benefit the entire global population, emphasizing the importance of addressing inequality through a cooperative approach.
  • Concern: Questions arise about the democratic accountability of global initiatives, with critics highlighting the potential for decisions that impact individuals worldwide to be made by unelected or unaccountable entities.
  • Counterpoint: Proponents argue that enhancing global governance is a step towards a more inclusive and democratic international system, where countries work together to address shared challenges.

Well-Intentioned Efforts:

  • Perspective: Some see Agenda 2030 as a well-intentioned effort to collaboratively address pressing global issues. The initiative emphasizes collective problem-solving and shared responsibility among nations.
  • Counterpoint: Skeptics argue that collaborative efforts may inadvertently lead to the concentration of power in the hands of a few, potentially undermining the diversity of perspectives required for effective problem-solving.
  • Perspective: Advocates argue that Agenda 2030 is designed to address critical challenges that no single nation can solve alone, such as climate change, poverty, and public health crises.
  • Counterpoint: Critics contend that the global nature of the agenda might provide cover for decisions that benefit certain interests over others, potentially sidelining the needs of specific communities or nations.
  • Perspective: Supporters emphasize the commitment to sustainable development as a positive aspect of Agenda 2030. The focus on environmental stewardship and social equity aims to create a more balanced and resilient global community.
  • Counterpoint: Detractors question whether the pursuit of sustainability might lead to drastic and unaccountable changes that impact individual freedoms and economic systems.
  • Perspective: Proponents view the agenda as an expression of global solidarity, where nations come together to tackle shared challenges for the greater good.
  • Counterpoint: Critics argue that the emphasis on solidarity may mask power dynamics that disproportionately favor certain nations or entities, potentially leading to an unequal distribution of benefits.

The debate surrounding Agenda 2030 reflects the tension between the potential benefits of global collaboration and the concerns about the concentration of power and the potential infringement on individual freedoms and rights. The lack of transparency in the planning process further intensifies these concerns and contributes to the proliferation of various theories about the true intentions behind the agenda.

Is this not just communism?

The concerns expressed by critics about a potential move toward a more collectivist society, where personal property rights may be sacrificed for the perceived greater good, evoke comparisons with aspects of communism. However, it’s important to note that the term “collectivism” encompasses a range of political and economic ideologies, and the concerns raised in the context of Agenda 2030 are nuanced. Let’s explore this further:

Concerns about a Move toward Collectivism:

  • Concern: Critics worry that the potential emphasis on wealth redistribution, a common feature in some forms of collectivism, may lead to a more equal distribution of resources but could also infringe upon individual property rights.
  • Clarification: While wealth redistribution is a feature associated with some forms of collectivism, the concerns here specifically revolve around the methods and extent of such redistribution and its impact on individual property rights.
  • Concern: The fear of a more collectivist society often includes apprehensions about centralized decision-making. Critics express concerns that decisions about resource allocation, property usage, and economic planning might be concentrated in the hands of a few entities.
  • Clarification: This concern aligns with critiques of central planning and control often associated with certain forms of collectivism, particularly in Marxist-Leninist models.
  • Concern: Critics argue that a move toward collectivism may undermine individual autonomy, as decisions about property ownership and resource allocation may be dictated by broader societal goals.
  • Clarification: The tension between individual autonomy and collective goals is a key aspect of debates about the role of the individual within a collective society.
  • Concern: Some express concerns that a more collectivist approach may create conditions conducive to authoritarian control, where decisions about property rights are made by a centralized authority for the supposed benefit of society.
  • Clarification: While not inherent to all forms of collectivism, concerns about authoritarianism often arise in discussions about centralization of power.

Communism and Collectivism:

  • Connection: Communism, in its theoretical form, advocates for common ownership of the means of production, aiming for a classless and stateless society. This involves the abolition of private property in favor of collective ownership.
  • Clarification: While the concerns raised about Agenda 2030 share some similarities with aspects of communism, the specific details of how common ownership and wealth distribution would be achieved are not explicitly outlined in the Agenda.
  • Nuance: Collectivism is a broad term that encompasses various ideologies, including socialism, communism, and other forms of communal organization. Not all forms of collectivism advocate for the same degree of centralization or property rights restrictions.
  • Distinction: The concerns about Agenda 2030 may involve elements of global governance, which adds a layer of complexity. Communism, historically, has been applied at the national level, whereas Agenda 2030 suggests a more global approach to addressing challenges.

In summary, while concerns about a move toward a more collectivist society resonate with critiques often associated with communism, the specifics of how Agenda 2030 would impact property rights and individual autonomy are not fully articulated. The concerns reflect broader anxieties about the balance between collective goals and individual freedoms within the context of global governance.

That is the logical answer because speculation isn’t definitive and key components of decision making are variables but we can more accurately calculate it without them. Given lack of details and unknowns one must look at similar scenarios. When you factor in the history of collectivism, statements made by individual members of the WEF, UN, and Globalist leaders, and assess the overall satisfaction and happiness of the worldwide population, the current implementation and transition to a more collective society has made the majority of the population less healthy, happy, and prosperous.

Bottom line, Government isn’t the answer. Neither is a completely individualistic society. There’s something called balance and it plays a role in everything in the universe. It’s a fact that human motivation is generated by a reward system. Sometimes that’s personal rewards of feeling good, sometimes it the recognition of accomplishment, sometimes it’s the ability to personally have something that is just theirs. Take away that reward system that motivates society to do better, be better, and family prosperity and that’s the end of society’s future movement towards progress.

Own Nothing and Be Happy: Being Human in 2030

world economic forum

In a short video showcased on social media, the WEF predicts that by 2030, “You’ll own nothing and you’ll be happy.” A happy smiling face is depicted while a drone delivers a product to a household, no doubt ordered online and packaged by a robot in a giant Amazon warehouse: ‘no humans were involved in manufacturing, packaging or delivering this product’; rest assured, it is virus- and bacteria-free – because even in 2030, they will need to keep the fear narrative alive and well to maintain full-spectrum dominance over the population.

On 20 April, the Wall Street Journal ran the headline ‘ IMF, World Bank Face Deluge of Aid Requests From Developing World .

Despite well-publicised claims to the contrary, this chemical-driven approach did not lead to higher food production according to the paper ‘ New Histories of the Green Revolution ’ written by Prof Glenn Stone. However, it has had long-term devastating ecological, social and economic consequences (see Vandana Shiva’s book ‘ The Violence of the Green Revolution ’ and Bhaskar Save’s now famous and highly insightful open letter to Indian officials ).

In the book ‘ Food and Cultural Studies ’ (Bob Ashley et al), we see how, some years ago, a Coca Cola TV ad campaign sold its product to an audience which associated modernity with a sugary drink and depicted ancient Aboriginal beliefs as harmful, ignorant and outdated.

Technocratic meddling has already destroyed or undermined cultural diversity, meaningful social connections and agrarian ecosystems that draw on centuries of traditional knowledge and are increasingly recognised as valid approaches to secure food security (for example, see ‘ Food Security and Traditional Knowledge in India ’ in the Journal of South Asian Studies).

You'll own nothing and you'll be happy

8 predictions for the world in 2030 based on the input of members of the World Economic Forum’s Global Future Council

  • You’ll own nothing . And you’ll be happy
  • Whatever you want you’ll rent . And it’ll be delivered by drone
  • The US won’t be the world’s leading superpower
  • A handful of countries will dominate
  • You won’t die waiting for an organ donor
  • We won’t transplant organs. We’ll print new ones instead
  • You’ll eat much less meat
  • An occasional treat, not a staple . For the good of the environment and our health

Some have pointed to the original article by the World Economic Forum on Facebook (Facebook is not recommended for several reasons so we won’t link to it here) did now express “You’ll own nothing. And you’ll be happy” as a specific goal, and this is correct.

Danish socialist politician Ida Auken , wrote the prediction in question and said it was not meant to show a “utopia or dream of the future” but rather “a scenario showing where we could be heading – for better and for worse.”

Editor’s comment: we don’t see any problems in the new socialist elite publishing works like this. It shows what’s on their mind and what they deem is acceptable, if they get the one government world they champion.
