KU Clinical Research Center
The KU Clinical Research Center provides space, staff and resources to support medical scientists and volunteers participating in clinical trials designed to find new treatments and improve patient care.
The pioneers of medical research are clinician scientists — those driven to find treatments and cures because they seek to help a fellow human being. The pioneers of medical research are volunteers — those with illnesses who are helping to find a cure at the same time.
The success of that research depends on the partnership between these pioneers— a partnership based on mutual trust and a common goal of wellness. The CRC helps facilitate that success by providing an optimal environment to conduct safe, state-of the-art studies:
- Clinical research functions combined into one location
- Easily accessible outpatient exam and treatment rooms, office space and specimen collection labs
