About the programme.

The Diploma Programme in Creative Writing in English provides understanding, skills, and professional knowledge about the art of writing and develops the creative ability of those interested in a professional career as a freelance writer. The curriculum is structured to impart instruction in progressive stages so as 'to ensure that a learner can assimilate information about a writer's art and develop his/her creative ability. This Programme includes training in writing skills in relation to feature articles (women's issues, book reviews. etc), writing short stories, scripts for TV /Radio, and writing poetry.

Eligibility for admission: All applicants with a 10+2 pass will be admitted. Anyone without 10+2 but 20 years old and above will also be admitted

Whoever studying DCE from IGNOU like me, I have my sympathies with you. Syllabus maybe good, cause we have no point of reference in India yet to judge it against, but the content is so difficult to understand and complex. It has no touch of today’s reality. It seems like it is written by the coordinator from the Victorian era. NO wonder fewer students opt for this course. Also, syllabus should contain a recent platform of publication such as online publication.

What is the last dates to submit the project proposal and last date for project report (Bounded copy) for Dec 2019 TEE exam??????

I had registered for the course in 2016 but could not attend the classes and appeared for examinaton. I want to continue the course. How to go about that now? Please guide. Is re registration required?
