Introduction

       India gained independence on August 15, 1947.   India was ruled by a foreign government, so it was governed by a foreign constitution.   After India's independence, it was decided to govern itself.   So it was decided to formulate a policy of governing India.   The drafters worked hard to complete the draft on January 26, 1949.   India's new constitution came into force on January 26, 1950.   India has declared itself a sovereign democratic republic.   It is known as a memorable day in the history of India.   It is a national holiday.

Purpose of Celebrating the Day

   Celebrating the National Day has significance in the life of every nation.   The importance of celebrating Republic Day is just as glorious.   It evokes patriotism, national pride and a sense of sacrifice in the hearts of the people of the country.   Again, it is associated with a glorious tradition that reflects the joy, hope, and confidence of public life.   Celebrating national holidays, especially in an independent country, is considered a national honor.   In this regard, the Republic Day provides infinite energy to every person in the country.   The importance of Democracy Day, like Independence Day, is very important for Indians.  

National Day

       January 26 is celebrated by Indians as a national holiday.   It is a national holiday.   The festival is celebrated in the national capital, Delhi.   Preparations begin about a month in advance.   Arrangements are made to sit on the grassy ground near the India Gate.   Special representatives from home and abroad take their seats before the festival begins.   Prime Minister Amar Javanajyoti pays deep homage to the martyrs.   At around 8am, His Excellency the President of India arrives at the security guard in a well-equipped horse-drawn carriage.   His Excellency the Prime Minister welcomes the President on the greeting platform.   The president is greeted with a salute as he ascends the greeting platform.   He hoists the national flag in the middle of the national anthem.   Helicopters were raining flowers in the sky at the time.   The President receives greetings in a pleasant parade.   The three armies take part in an armed parade.   N.C.C.   Police, scouts, the Red Cross and the army are also taking part in the parade.   Modern warheads travel slowly at the side of the greeting platform.   The band performs in a parade of thrilling musical instruments.   Their attention is focused on their president when everyone is passing by.   The President delivers an important short speech on the occasion of Republic day.

      An entertaining cultural program follows the military program.   The elephants walk up to greet the well-dressed shunts.   Hundreds of students marched in colorful uniforms holding national flags.   Folk dance troupes from different states can be found dancing in the procession.   The state's progressive art, culture, and science-fiction flocks make the festival a joy.   The spectators are proud to see the moving scenes in front of them.   Fireworks display at Ramlila Maidan at night is one of the highlights of Republic Day.   The night lights in the presidential palace and government offices are also visible.

State-level festivities

   State governments organize state-level festivities in the capitals.   His Excellency the Governor and the NCC   Greetings from students.   He hoists the national flag and delivers his speech.   The Minister of Human Affairs hoisted the national flag as a guest at the district level ceremony.   Cultural events and fireworks are on display to entertain the audience.

Celebrations in educational institutions

    Republic Day is celebrated in all schools and colleges.   On the same day, the president of the institution hoists the national flag and receives greetings from the students.   He mentions students in his speeches about the significance of the day.   Various cultural events are organized.   Awards and honors: Awards and honors at the state and national levels are one of the highlights of the day.   Elected teachers from across the country receive national teacher honors from the President for their memorable service.   The President awards bravery to boys and girls.   He has also awarded military and civilian honors and medals to individuals who have excelled in various fields.   Police receive medals from the president for important service.   The Governor also conferred state-level honors and medals on various outstanding services and achievements.   Awards are given to students who have excelled in various competitions in schools and colleges.
