The application letter is the first thing an employer looks at and if you do not convey why you deserve the job properly then they won’t even look at your CV.
Here are a few things to help you when writing an Application Letter
1. Tailor it to your industry Whenever you write a cover letter it is important to remember to tailor it to the industry you want to work in. For example if the job is a Human Resource position then there is no point in you mentioning your sales experience. This is because the cover letter is supposed to show how you are qualified for the position which means you only need to put experience relevant to the position you are applying for.
