• Certificate of Employment and Compensation bearing your complete name, position, and salary. This should also be on your company’s letterhead, with the HR’s contact number (except cellphone), address, and email address.
• Computerized 1-month payslip
• Form 1700 or ITR with BIR or Bank-received stamp
• Credit Card (will swipe to charge the advance monthly service fee)
• For Overseas Filipino Workers: 3-month Certificate of Allotment plus
• Employment Contract

If you don’t have any Proof of Income, you can also use the following:

Pay the monthly service fee for a month in advance using your credit card. Get an existing Globe Postpaid Plan customer as a guarantor for your Globe Plans application.

4. Additional Requirements If You Are A Foreigner . These documents should be the latest copy and should not be expired.

• DOLE Employment Permit
• Employment Contract or Certificate of Employment bearing your complete name, position, and salary. This should also be on your company’s letterhead, with the
• HR’s contact number (except cellphone), address, and email address.
• Immigration Certificate of Registration
• Company Guarantee (if you are staying less than the contract period you are applying for)
• Special Retiree’s Residence VISA

In any case, you don’t have the documents listed above, there are still other ways to apply:

If you are an existing Globe Postpaid Plan customer or you are a Line-Only applicant, you just need to submit a valid ID.

If you are from an OFW family, you can submit your certificates of allotment for the last three months from the application or a copy of your foreign remittance slip. This can serve as your proof of income.

If you are a housewife, you may submit the original copies of your electricity bills or the rental or lease of the contract.

On the other hand, doing the offline method means that you have to physically visit your nearest store. While it can be tiresome, assistance from an actual Globe representative can be really helpful.

Step 1: Visit Globe’s GFiber website page: https://new.globe.com.ph/gfiber . Then, click “Check my address”.

Step 2: Key in your province, city, and barangay. This process ensures that Globe GFiber is available in your area before proceeding with the whole process.

Step 3: As a continuation of step 2, you have to complete your address by choosing if it’s a house or condominium, then adding all the other details like house number, street, floor number, etc. You should also input your mobile number.

Afterward, use the red pin to exactly point to your location on the map. Once done, click “Check my address”.

Step 4: If Globe Fiber internet is available in your area, you should land on Globe’s website where it will show plan recommendations. Pick the one you like then click “Proceed with this plan”.

Step 5: Fill up your personal information. Scroll down and click “Upload documents”.

Globe Business seeks digital transformation partnerships with more MSMEs

GLOBE GROUP’s Globe Business on Wednesday said it is currently reaching out to more micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in the country to accelerate their digital transformation.

“Globe Business seeks to go beyond the surface by helping MSMEs with innovations that accelerate business growth, expertise that guides businesses forward, and… care that supports their journeys, so they can achieve more business breakthroughs,” said KD D. Dizon, head of MSME Group at Globe Business, during a virtual media event.

“We recognize the pain points of these MSMEs. To help them prevail, we provide innovative solutions that accelerate business growth,” she added.

MSMEs, which make up 99% of the country’s businesses, help reduce unemployment by creating jobs. They employ 63% of the country’s total work force.

“We believe that if we help them succeed, we also help our nation succeed,” Globe Telecom, Inc. President and Chief Executive Officer Ernest L. Cu said.

Among Globe’s digital offerings are business-grade connectivity plans from GPlan Biz and GFiber Biz.

GPlan Biz is one of Globe’s connectivity plans intended for MSMEs.

“Aside from its basic mobile connectivity features, [GPlan Biz] allows users to use GCash for business to purchase digital solutions or pay suppliers conveniently, among others,” Globe Business said.

“Subscribers can enjoy unlimited 5G network for six months as well as unlimited text and call to all mobile networks and landlines nationwide,” it added.

Meanwhile, GFiber Biz Plus is a business-grade broadband plan that promises seamless online activity for MSMEs.

“It also comes with two pieces of Wi-Fi mesh that help strengthen internet coverage in different parts of an establishment, and unlimited calls to all mobile networks and landlines nationwide, allowing entrepreneurs to be worry-free of top-up call charges,” Globe Business said.

Vehicle Tracker is another digital solution that allows MSMEs to manage their fleet and ensure safe delivery with real-time monitoring feature.

Globe Business also introduced its Cloud Payroll, which automates employee records and fast-tracks payroll processing, as well as ChatGenie, which lets MSMEs manage their transactions across different channels on one platform.

2023 Guide: How to terminate your Globe At Home Plan

If you are planning to move to another location or you no longer need a fixed internet, or you are simply not happy with the service anymore, you have the freedom to discontinue or terminate your plan from any internet service provider as long as you have completed your 24- or 36-month contract to avoid pre-termination fees.

In this article, we will guide you on how to properly terminate your Globe At Home plan.

Termination Options

1. ‘globe at home’ app.

• Download the ‘ Globe At Home ‘ app on App Store or Google Play. If you don’t have an account yet, register for one.
• Once registered, go the Menu and select ‘ Help & Support ‘.
• Then select ‘ Submit a Concern ‘.
• Then select ‘ Request for Permanent Disconnection ‘. (There’s also an option for a temporary disconnection that might be helpful depending on your current situation).

2. Email your intent to disconnect

If you are decided to cancel your plan, you may opt to email Globe support.

• Account Name
• Account Number
• Landline Number
• Reason for termination (e.g. Transfer of location; No longer need the service; Poor connection in your area; etc.)
• Attach your Valid ID
• Email the documents to [email protected] .  Subject line must be your Account Number_Account Name_Service Type Request [900000_Juan dela Cruz_Permanent Disconnection].

3. Visit the nearest Globe store

This is by far the best option if you wish to have your subscription canceled ASAP as most requests on-site are prioritized. If you wish to proceed with this option, make sure to be ready with all the requirements.

• Bring the (1) Modem with cables and (2) Telephone
• Authorization letter (if you send a representative on behalf of your account)
• Optional but advisable: Extra cash to settle pending payment.

Frequently Asked Questions

1. What happens if I terminate/cancel/close my Globe At Home account during the lock-in period?

If you are still under the contract, you will be required to pay the pre-termination fee.

The computation is P2,500 + 2 months of plan cost + pending bills .

We don’t recommend terminating your subscription if your contract has not expired yet for practical reasons; unless you are moving out or will really no longer use their service.

2. Can I just cancel and not pay my bills forever?

You can but we do not recommend this for the following reasons:

• You will be blacklisted.  This means, you won’t be able to use their service in the future because your name and address have already been flagged as having a negative record in their database.
• You may receive annoying calls  from collection agencies for a long time just for you to settle the bills.

3. My cancellation seems to have no progress. What can I do?

Quoting from a user on Reddit: “ Don’t be afraid to file a report . Consumer affairs or NTC. Do not be afraid to report. If they haven’t responded to you or your next bill that they said should  not  include your internet subscription anymore  still  included in the bill, file a report immediately and do not pay that bill. We filed a grievance with NTC and they acted right away. Funnily enough, when the NTC support person who interviewed us finished listening, he documented it and passed onto the next person saying, “Oh, as usual. PLDT na naman”. The 4 months waiting with PLDT before reporting, was resolved within the month with a regulator.  Gagalaw lang ang Globe kapag may regulator kasi they will be forced to explain to the regulator why they could not perform the request . At hassle pa yun sa kanila.”

4. I would like to wait for the lock-in period, but how can I report my concerns to PLDT?

You can report your concerns via the following channels:
