Routine Love Story is a romantic comedy film by Sundeep Kishan and Regina Cassandra played a role which was released in Telugu in 2012. Produced by Chanakya Booneti, the film is directed by Praveen Sattaru, who previously worked on LBW (Life Before Wedding).

Mickey J. Meyer composed the film’s soundtrack. Along with Nagarjuna’s Dhamarukam, the movie was released on November 23, 2012, and both had a successful opening weekend at the box office in Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, and other countries.

Plot First-year engineering student Sanju (Sundeep Kishan) is a happy-go-lucky guy who develops a deep romantic attachment to his classmate Tanvi (Regina). They spend some joyful days together and become close friends. After some time, Sanju decides to ask Tanvi to marry him in order to advance their relationship.

Tanvi asks Sanju to give her some time so they can get to know one another better, looking perplexed. Like in any committed partnership, the couple quickly learns to appreciate and dislike aspects of one another. Whether Sanju and Tanvi choose to continue their life together is the subject of the remaining chapters.

'Routine Love Story' Review: It's entertaining

The film depicts that all love stories go through the same phase before eventually reaching the conclusion.

In an honest effort, director Praveen Sattaru presents a love story, true to its title. It depicts that all love stories go through the same phase before eventually reaching the conclusion. Known for his offbeat presentation, Sattaru scores with his latest offering exclusively because he manages to weave a story, which is very real and honest.

Like every love story, 'Routine Love Story' captures the romance of Sanju and Tanvi, played by Sundeep and Regina respectively. Sanju develops immense liking for Tanvi at first sight, and after much thought, shares his feelings with Tanvi, hoping for a positive response immediately. However, Tanvi requests for time. Meanwhile, instead of growing close, they detach from each other despite extreme love for each other. Will they understand each other and come to terms with love or not, forms the rest of the story.

Sattaru deliberately chose a subject known and appreciated by all instead of experimenting with a subject the audience may be alien to. Without making anything too obvious, he works closely on a script that appears cliched, but isn't when it finally unfolds on screen. The director's audiences haven't changed since his last film 'LBW' (Life before Marriage). He targets people between the age group 18 and 30 precisely, to be acknowledged for narrating a story that is similar to their lives.

The film doesn't offer anything new, but manages to leave an impact because of the simplicity in the plot. The director mirrors modern-day love story in style and adds his creative touch in the overall output. The film depicts what every relationship is akin to, but leaves scope to debate and decide whether what is shown makes sense or not. Come to think of it and you realize that Praveen only improvises on a love story that is common, yet unique in its own way.

The performance by the lead actors, Sundeep and Regina, definitely stand out. Sundeep, in his first solo hero role proves his mettle with confident acting, while Regina as the careless and high on energy girl, plays her part with ease. Vennela Kishore in his cameo is true to his role.

Comedy doesn't quite impress even with the presence of several leading comedians, while music by Mickey. J Meyer goes unnoticed barring few tracks.

Routine Love Story - Movie Review: A real love story

Routine Love Story , which has been directed by Praveen Sattaru, is a romantic comedy movie and Sundeep Kishan's energetic performance is the main highlight of the film. Praveen Sattaru's wonderful screenplay and dialogues, Mickey J Meyer's music, Suresh Bhargav's cinematography, perfect comedy timings, beautiful costumes and locales are its other attractions.

Routine Love Story is a simple love story about how a guy tries to understand the character of an immature girl whom he is fallen in love with. There are a few interesting songs, comedy and action sequences, which keep you engaged in the first half of the film. The second half is even more interesting. Director Praveen Sattaru has a good grip over the proceedings on the screens.

Sanju aka Sundeep Kishan (Sundeep Kishan) is young-college going guy, who has a fixed notion about love and life. He gets introduced to 17-year old immature girl named Tanvi ( Regina Cassandra ) and his life tumbles forever. What kind of sequences he goes through to get to know her will form the crux of the story.

As a solo hero, Sundeep Kishan has given a brilliant performance and he impresses the viewers with his perfect comedy timing, amazing action and dialogue delivery. Regina Cassandra, who was also looking for a big break, is also good in her respective role. She impress you with her dance skills in song sequences. Others have also done justice to their respective roles.

In technical front, Micky J Mayar's music is the main highlight. All his tunes are melodious. Especially songs like 'Naa Manasupai', 'Peppatikaina' and the title track will be remembered even after you are out of the theatre. Suresh Bhargav has captured beautiful locales in song sequence. Dharmendra's editing is also commendable. Overall, Routine Love Story has rich production values.

Although, it is titled Routine Love Story , it has a fresh and brand new story, which has some realistic moments, which young audience can relate to their life. It is a must watch for youth.
