Or, call in and speak to a tutor on the phone to get homework help if they do not have internet access. During tutoring hours, you can call 1-888-444-6607 to speak to a tutor.

Please note that a tutor cannot answer access issues or help you to troubleshoot logging in to gnspes.ca or the Nova Scotia Homework Hub. Please email the NSHH Coordinator for help at [email protected].

How do I prepare for a tutoring session?

To have the best tutoring experience:

You can revisit for as many sessions as you need in an evening, a week, or the school year. There is no limit to the number of 20 minute sessions you can have.

What if I forget what my tutor said after my session is over?

You can access your own recorded tutoring session by clicking on Your sessions tile. Only you can see these recordings.

Will you discuss my tutoring session with my teacher?

No, your tutoring session is private and anonymous. Regular in school code of conduct though is expected at all times.

What can I expect from a tutoring session?

You can ask for help from your textbook, from a concept from class that you need help with, or any other concept from your math class that you need clarification on. You will have up to 20 minutes with a tutor in a session. The tutor can extend the session if you need more time.
