IGNOU Assignment Status, Marks, and Result 2023 – Here, Students will get to know about the IGNOU Assignment Status for the most recent TEE sessions June 2024 and the previous December 2023. After taking admission to IGNOU University every student needs to get their Assignments from the nearest study centre or can download the same online from the IGNOU website. As per IGNOU Rules, all students have to compulsorily write their assignment which is given by the university and they have to solve it and submit it to the concerned study centre which is allotted to them. The Assignment must be submitted before the last or due date. If the last date of submission is passed then your assignment will be not accepted by the centre under any circumstances.

We want to inform all students that if you fail to submit your required assignment within a given time duration then you will be not permitted to attend the upcoming Term End Examination conducted by IGNOU. The assignments have a 30% weighted in your grade card while the Theory and Practical examination has a 70% weighted.

IGNOU Assignment Status 2023

Latest Update – As we all know that the university has started the submission of IGNOU Assignment for TEE June 2024 session. Therfore, we hope that the IGNOU RCs across the country has also begin to update the IGNOU Assignment Status Online for the most recent TEE session June 2024. As of now, the students will only get to know the status of “ Received and In Progress ” as the assignment marks and results for session June 2024 will be declared together with IGNOU TEE Result June 2024. Therefore, candidates are advised to do check their IGNOU Assignment status regularly to get their assignment marks and results online as soon as possible.

IGNOU assignment status or marks for TEE December 2023 is now uploaded with the TEE Result December 2023 so keep checking the assignment status regularly to get your marks. If you already submitted the IGNOU Assignment for the session December 2023 to your study centre or through online or offline mode then you don’t have to wait for more time. The link to check your assignment status and marks is now updated to confirm whether it gets updated online or not. The assignment status and marks for June & December 2023 are generally updated with the TEE Result for June & December 2023 respectively.

IGNOU Assignment Status Update Process & Time

After submission of assignments through any of the available methods, the assignments go for an evaluation to the evaluator of the study centre or regional centre. Once Evaluator has successfully evaluated your assignment then they will either upload your marks directly on the IGNOU Site or it will be sent to IGNOU Delhi for updating online and thereafter it can be seen by each student to get their report. You can get your Marks, Status, Grades, and Results of your Assignments from here. Generally, IGNOU Assignment marks updating and uploading within 40 days after submission to the concerned study or regional centre.

Things to Do after Submission of IGNOU Assignment

If you have submitted your Assignments to the IGNOU Study Centre then now is time for checking your marks and status online. After the submission of assignments, it goes to the evaluation department in which IGNOU evaluators start the evaluation of each assignment solution. If only a few days have passed then we advise all students that please check their Assignment Marks and Status after three or four weeks.

The students of TEE June 2024, December 2023, June 2023, and December 2022 may check the status of their IGNOU Assignments from here. The submission of the IGNOU Assignment for session December 2023 was already over so candidates can now regularly check the status to get to know whether their marks are updated in the grade card or not. Note – IGNOU Assignment status may take some time to get updated online so candidates are requested to keep check their status regularly to find their assignment marks from here. In some cases, the study centre first evaluates the assignment, after evaluation, they send the marks to the regional centre and then the concerned authority at RC uploads the marks online which definitely takes some time.

What If IGNOU Assignment Status is Not Updated?

Sometimes the update process of IGNOU Assignment status gets delayed for an unknown reason like the evaluation of assignments is delayed in the concerned study centre or maybe the regional centre has not uploaded your assignment marks online. Candidates can wait till the declaration of the result to get updates on their assignment but if you are not able to find your assignment status or marks even after the release of the TEE Result then you need to connect with centre where you submitted your assignments.

The IGNOU has released the guidelines that students must comply while preparing and submitting their assignments. Here are the updated guidelines:

All the assignment should be hand written.

Students must use A4 ruled paper (unless it is instructed on your TMA).

Leave 4 cm margin on left and right side of each page.

Do not use staplers, to bind the pages; you use need threads (what is typically found with cover files).

Avoid using any ink colour other than blue and black.

First you need to attach the cover page (You will find it at your study centre).

Then, attach a photocopy of your IGNOU ID card.

After that, attach a copy of your TMA (question paper on your assignment document).

Lastly, attach your hand written answers.

Leave one blank page in the end.

Do not use any files while submitting your assignments. Your assignment should only consist of the pages, tied with a thread.

You must take a submission receipt, which will be stamped by the study centre with submission dates. In case, your study centre is unable to provide you one, take a photocopy of the cover page of your assignment and get that stamped.

Note: For submission of practicals, you need to use a cover file.

IGNOU assignment status or marks have been uploaded with the TEE Result for the June 2023 session. Therefore, it is requested that the student keep a check on the official website. If you have already submitted the assignment then doesn’t need to worry about the same.

IGNOU Assignment Submission Deadline 2023

One must note that any assignment for the June TEE 2023 session or December TEE 2023 must be handed personally or digitally to the appointed regional centre. As of now, the current deadline for submitting the June TEE assignment has passed, which was on May 15, 2023. As per the official information, candidates need to submit the assignment before 30 September 2023. After this date, no assignment will be accepted.

How to Check IGNOU Assignment Status 2023?

Here’s how the student will be able to check the result of the assignment that has been submitted to them:

Go to the official website of IGNOU which will redirect students to check their assignment status.
Select the result tab
Go to the grade tab
Select the programme
Enter enrollment number

IGNOU Assignment Guidelines

It is advised that all candidates will have to submit their projects either online via email, Google Links or offline in in-person at their respective Regional Centres. In order to submit their assignments, the university has given students the following instructions, which must be followed.

All assignments must be handwritten.
Each assignment should start with the student’s name, enrollment number, study centre code, course code, email address and phone number.
The student will have to sign each sheet before scanning them.
All scanned coursework must be in PDF format.
The scanned file should be clear and can be scanned either by a cam scanner or mobile phone.
At the time of sending MEG1 assignments, the file name should include the enrollment and course numbers, like 2564879528 MEG1.

For the IGNOU assignment to get updated and uploaded, a total of 40 days is required after the submission to the concerned study or regional centre.

The IGNOU assessment for the June TEE 2023 session can be submitted by going to the concerned regional centre or online. Those who successfully submit their assignment will be eligible to appear for the End-Term Examination.

The last date to submit the assignment for 2023 is 30 September 2023.

After clicking the above link, an official website will show on the screen; in the middle of that website, you can see the two options.

Click on the first option (Assignment marks), and you get to the new page.
On this page, you can see the select option in the box with the down arrow. Click on the down arrow, and the list of the programs will pop up in front of you. Choose your program and click on the submit button.
After clicking the submit button, a new page will open in front of you.
Now enter your roll no in the empty box. And click on the submit button. After clicking on the submit button a new page will show on the screen. Will discuss this in the next point.

How to Check AIOU Assignment Result Through LMS Portal?

Through the following steps, you can easily get your assignment result with the help of your LMS portal. How so? Let’s discuss:

First, open your LSM account by entering your user ID and Password.
On the home page of your LMS account, you can find the profile option at the top of the right corner.
Click on that profile, and a pop-up will show on your screen with various options.
Click on the fourth option, i.e., Grades.
After that click, and the result of your assignment will show in front of you. If you get the bar in front of any subject, it means this particular assignment is unchecked. These assignment numbers are included in your final result, so make sure to take a screenshot of that particular page for proof purposes. Now you are good to go.

AIOU Assignment Marks Spring 2024

The students who are in Matric, FSC, I.Com, BA, and B.Com can check their spring 2024 assignment marks of AIOU by messaging or calling to their teachers. OR they may wait until the final result publishes on the official website of the AIOU.

The other group of students who are in BS, B.ED, Master, BBA, or in associate degree programs can check their spring 2024 assignment marks through the LMS portal. Because they submit their assignments through the LMS portal, that is why they receive their marks from there too.

AIOU Assignment Passing Marks

In AIOU, the passing assignment marks are 50%; let’s discuss it in more depth. There are two types of assignments:

3 Credit Assignments
6 Credit assignments

3 Credit Assignments:

In 3 credit course, you are assigned 2 assignments. If you get overall 50% marks in both assignments, you will consider passing. How so? Let’s understand this with an example:

For Example:

In the first assignment, you got 20 marks out of 50. And in the second assignment, you score 30 marks out of 50; overall results will be 50%. That’s how you are considered to pass. It doesn’t matter that you are failing in one subject assignment; what actually matters is your score, that will must be overall 50% or more.

6 Credit Assignments:

In 6 credit course, you are assigned 4 assignments. Its passing procedure is the same like 3 credit course. If you score overall 50% marks, you will consider a pass.

If you overall fail in any 3 credit or 6 credit assignment and you score is 100% in exams, then you should be considered fail. So be conscious about your assignments.

AIOU Assignment Marks FA 2024

The assignments marks of FA spring 2024 of AIOU will be an issue with your final result. And your final result will be announced at the end week of November. If you want to receive your assignment marks before November, you may approach your subject teacher through call or message.

AIOU Assignment Marks 2024 BA

If you are in BA, you may worry about your spring assignment marks in 2024. Don’t worry; you can even receive your marks before the final result to. How so? Let’s discuss this.
