-Sunday’s WWE A&E Biography on Scott Hall delivered 407,000 viewers, according to SpoilerTV.com . The show finished 23rd in Sunday’s cable ratings with a 0.13 rating in the 18-49 demographic.

-Sunday’s WWE Rivals on Undertaker vs. Shawn Michaels averaged 368,000 viewers for A&E and finished 25th in the cable ratings with a 0.12 rating.

Powell’s POV: Last week’s Sgt. Slaughter biography tallied 276,000 viewers and a 0.11 rating, while the same night’s WWE Rivals on Jake Roberts vs. Randy Savage had 316,000 viewers and a 0.06 rating. Sunday’s biography spotlights Diamond Dallas Page, while the Rivals show focuses on Randy Orton vs. John Cena.

The latest ratings and viewership statistics for the popular shows, WWE Rivals & Biography: WWE Legends have been released. The figures provide an interesting insight into the current popularity of these programs among various demographics.

Sunday’s episode of WWE Rivals showcased a riveting face-off between Randy Savage and Jake Roberts. This particular broadcast managed to garner a 0.06 rating in the crucial 18-49 demographic category along with attracting 316,000 viewers. These numbers reflect quite a significant dip from last week’s performance which was recorded at a higher demo rating of 0.07 and had successfully drawn an audience count of approximately 351,000.

These statistics represent around a decrease by about 14.3% in terms of demographic ratings and roughly about ten percent drop in overall viewer numbers compared to previous week’s data 📉.

Chyna Lifts WWE Biography Ratings On A&E, Rivals Sees Drop For John Cena Vs. The Rock

Sunday's episode of "WWE Biography" centered around "The Ninth Wonder of the World" Chyna provided a slight boost in viewership for A&E's pro wrestling docuseries in the ratings.

Per Wrestlenomics , the Chyna-focused episode led to a 6% jump in viewers from the week prior with viewership in the coveted 18-49 demographic up 20%; the episode ranked #20 in P18-49 among cable originals for the day, according to Showbuzz Daily. The previous episode had featured Jake "The Snake" Roberts.

481,000 viewers on average tuned in to watch A&E's episode on Chyna, which recapped her life and career both in and out of the squared circle. In addition to once winning the WWE Women's Championship, the D-Generation X member is one of the few women to ever compete in singles action in the men's division, twice winning the WWE Intercontinental Championship — the first and only woman to ever hold the title (she technically won it a third time, as well but temporarily served as a "co-champion" with Chris Jericho ). Chyna is also the only woman to ever qualify for the King of the Ring tournament and made two appearances in the men's Royal Rumble match.

A&E also saw viewership decrease for its "WWE Rivals" episode on the feud between Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson and John Cena, with 387,000 people on average tuning in, down from the previous week's episode about The Undertaker vs. Mankind. "Rivals" viewership sank 8% week-to-week while dropping 2% in the 18-49 age range. The rivalry between Cena and The Rock took place over the course of three consecutive WrestleMania main events from 2011 to 2013 and included Johnson's eighth WWE Championship win, though Cena would ultimately come out of the feud victorious.

WWE Biography: Legends on A&E on March 10th scored 407,000 and a 0.13 rating in the 18 to 49 demographic. The episode focused on Scott Hall. Those numbers are up from the March 3rd episode on Sgt. Slaughter which drew 276,000 viewers and a 0.07 rating in the demo.

WWE Rivals, focusing on Undertaker vs. Shawn Michaels, drew 368,000 viewers and a 0.12 rating in the demo. Those numbers are up from the Rivals episode on Jake Roberts vs. Randy Savage, which drew 316,000 viewers and a 0.06 rating.

On March 17th, WWE Biography: Legends on Diamond Dallas Page drew 368,000 viewers and a 0.09 demo rating. WWE Rivals on John Cena vs. Randy Orton drew 330,000 viewers and a 0.07 demo rating.

WWE Raw Ratings Report (3/18): Viewership total, demo total, year-ago comparison, third hour with Jax-Becky holds audience better than average

Monday’s (3/18) episode of WWE Monday Night Raw on USA Network averaged 1.68 million viewers, down from 1.719 million last week and the lowest since Jan. 15. The prior 11 weeks in 2024 averaged 1.765, so it wasn’t too far below the average. One year ago this week, Raw drew 1.778 million and the prior 11 week period had averaged 1.957 million.

The hourly viewership numbers were:

• 1.791 million
• 1.767 million
• 1.573 million

The first-to-third hour dropoff was 146,000, lower than 153,000 and 205,000 the prior two weeks. The prior ten week average dropoff was 192,000, so this week’s third hour held viewership better than usual. The third hour included a Drew McIntyre-Seth Rollins segment and the advertised main event of Nia Jax vs. Becky Lynch.

In the key 18-49 demo, it drew a 0.55, in line with the 0.56 and 0.54 the prior two weeks. The average for 2024 coming into tihs week was 0.55. One year ago, the same time period averaged a 0.53 rating. So overall, total Raw viewership is down compared to last year but the percentage with cable in the 18-49 demo who are watching is up slightly.

Bray Wyatt Documentary Set to Debut in April on Peacock

WWE will release a documentary on the late Windham Rotunda, known to fans as Bray Wyatt , on Peacock in April.

“Bray Wyatt: Becoming Immortal” will premiere on April 1. Narrated by Mark Callaway, aka The Undertaker, the doc will feature interviews with Rotunda himself and never before seen footage from the WWE archives as well as interviews with WWE superstars like Hulk Hogan, John Cena, Becky Lynch, Triple H, and Windham’s brother Taylor Rotunda.

The official description of the doc states:

WWE has also released a trailer, which can be seen below.

Steve Conoscenti directed the doc, with Paul “Triple H” Levesque, Lee Fitting, Chris Kaiser, and Ben Houser serving as executive producers. Marc Pomarico and Brian Decker are co-executive producers.

The wrestling world was shocked when Rotunda passed away in August 2023 at just 36 years old of a heart attack. His death came less than a year after his return to WWE, as he had been released by the company in 2021 but returned in late 2022. His final televised match was against LA Knight at the 2023 Royal Rumble.

Afa Anoa’i Health Update, NJPW Windy City Riot Lineup, WWE Rivals & Biography Ratings

As we previously reported here on eWn, WWE Hall of Famer Afa Anoa’i (The Wild Samoan) fractured his back in two places after a fall.

Anoa’i was scheduled to undergo surgery to fix the fractures in his back, but it was postponed because he was also set for a heart valve replacement surgery and doctors were figuring out whether to do that first.

Pwinsider is reporting that the back surgery is now scheduled for Friday.

The ratings and total audience are now available for the past two weeks of WWE Rivals  and  Biography: WWE Legends .

The March 10th and 17th episodes of the A&E programming block brought in figures as follows:

WWE 2K24 Producer Reveals What Goes Into A Playable Character Rating

A WWE 2K producer has shared what exactly goes into the often controversial, much-discussed rankings of playable characters. 

Earlier this month, WWE 2K24 was released and has proven to be another hit in the series. Once more, the game features rankings for the Superstars, which often appear on WWE programming. These rankings are often heavily-discussed and during an interview with the Squared Circle Pit, WWE 2K24 producer Bryan Williams spoke about what goes into an in-game ranking. 

"For us on the design side, we're really big on character differentiation and making sure that when you select a character that they are of their appropriate hierarchy on the card. Not everybody can be a Roman Reigns. You have people that are at the tippety top of the card and then you have people that are not, but there's no slight on anybody."

Williams added that in contrast to previous years, WWE 2K24's ratings were determined much more on what sort of year a Superstar has had since the previous game's release. 

"We kind of take all that into account to see, did they hold championships? Were they winning more than they were losing? Are they consistently pushed?"

Controversial Ratings

During the February 26, episode of WWE Raw, Michael Cole spoke about WWE 2K24. The veteran broadcaster said the character ratings in WWE 2K games are "always controversial."

Kurt Angle is in WWE 2K24 and many fans have been angered by his rating. The WWE Hall of Famer, Olympic Gold Medalist, King of the Ring, and World Champion has an 89 rating in the game. On social media, fans argued that this ranking was too low and pointed at Logan Paul's 90 rating as proof Angle should be higher.

A Very Real Controversy

Though fans often debate whether a Superstar should be ranked higher or lower than another, one Superstar this year sparked a controversy out of the confines of the ring. GUNTHER was given an 88 rating for WWE 2K24, which caused concerns among some fans. 

88 is known as a Nazi dog whistle which allows Nazis to signal their beliefs to others covertly. A simple numeric alphabet code (A=1, B=2, etc) sees 88 translated into HH (Heil Hitler.) While WWE 2K did not address this directly, GUNTHER's rating was changed to an 89.
