PowerPoint Agenda Slide: What It Is & Easy Ways to Make One

If you’ve been creating Microsoft PowerPoint presentations for a while, you already know the benefits of starting with a good agenda.

As a presenter, it allows you to take control of the conversation from the very beginning. You’ll also have the ability to eliminate audience distractions by clarifying the meeting objective and pointing out when the audience can be expected to participate. This allows them to pay  more  attention to what you’re saying and  less  to when you’re going to answer certain questions.

In fact,  according to Entrepreneur , meetings without effective agendas are simply  time-wasters.  When your audience doesn’t know what to expect they’ll be more likely to interrupt with questions and that’s a quick way to lose control.

Whether you’re presenting to clients, students, or colleagues starting a presentation with a solid agenda is always a good idea.

So, I’m sharing three types of PowerPoint agenda slides you can start creating today. I’ll also share the skill level needed for each and best practices for when each one is most effective.

Visual Roadmap Agenda Slide

What is an agenda slide in powerpoint.

When you’re creating a PowerPoint presentation, it’s extremely important to have an agenda slide. An agenda slide in PowerPoint is the first slide of your presentation.

This is the slide that tells your audience what you’re going to be talking about. It tells the audience what they are going to see and in what order. It is basically an outline of your presentation.

As a presentation creator, this can be a great slide to create when drafting a presentation. It can help to keep your presentation focused and on track.

By including an agenda slide, you’re helping your audience to follow along and understand the overall structure of your presentation. It also gives the appearance of a more professional presentation.

How do you create an agenda slide?

Skill Level:  Beginner

What it’s good for:  This is ideal for presentations to leaders, executives, and similar “no-frills” types of audiences. This type of agenda provides clear, easy-to-follow navigation and is perfect for presentations of all kinds.

How it’s Done:

  • Create a simple numbered or bulleted list of agenda points to be included at the beginning of your presentation.
  • NOTE: This can be a list of each slide’s actual title, key takeaways, general concept(s) each slide covers. If you choose to focus on key takeaways or concepts, try to keep your descriptions clear and concise. Use the  5/5/5 rule  as a guide, if needed.
  • Highlight the text of your first agenda item.
  • Right-click on the highlighted text and click  Hyperlink.
  • Select  Place in This Document  and  select the corresponding slide  within your presentation.
  • Click  OK.
  • Repeat steps 2 through 5 for each item on the agenda.

Zoom Section Links Agenda Slide(for PowerPoint 2016 and later)

Skill Level:  Beginner/Intermediate

What it’s good for:  This works well for presentations with clearly defined sections and allows you to bounce between the topics when necessary.

How it’s Done: 

  • Once your PowerPoint is complete, navigate over to the slide preview panel on the left side of the screen and  click on the space  between the two slides where you want your first section to start. (Wherever you click, the section will include all slides that follow unless there is another section later in the presentation, then it will include all slides up until that point.) A line will appear to show where your new section begins.
  • Navigate to the  Home  tab at the top of the screen and click on  Section,  then  Add Section.
  • Give the section a name.
  • NOTE: At this point, I like to create a slide that simply says the section name. It allows you to create more uniform section images later.
  • Click away from the section and it will automatically save.
  • Repeat steps 1 through 5 for any additional sections you wish to include.
  • Once all sections are complete, insert a new blank slide for your agenda.
  • Navigate to the  Insert  tab at the top of the screen and  click the drop-down menu next to Zoom  then click  Section Zoom.
  • Select the sections you wish to include and click  Insert.
  • The section images will automatically be added in a cascaded stack on the slide. Click away from the images and then click each one to drag and drop to the correct placement on the slide.

Skill Level:  Advanced

What it’s good for:  This is great for presentations geared towards interns, new hires, or presentations that focus on steps within a process or system.

  • Create a simple bulleted list of the sections to be included in your presentation.
  • With your text box selected, navigate to the  Home  tab at the top of the screen and click  Convert to SmartArt  and choose from the dropdown menu.
  • Once you select one of the options, a new menu will appear at the top of the screen. You can use this menu to preview other styles. I recommend selecting from the Process section. Some of my favorite types of SmartArt for this are Basic Process, Picture Accent Process, Alternating Flow, Basic Timeline, Basic Chevron Process, Vertical Chevron List, and Upward Arrow.
  • Depending on the chart you choose, you may also have additional space to include more details about each part of the presentation.
  • Adjust the shape colors, size, and style to match your presentation.
  • Additionally, you may want to link each step in the process to a section or slide. To create a linked shape,  right-click the shape  and click  Hyperlink.  Select  Place in This Document , choose the appropriate slide and then click  OK.

Is there an agenda template in PowerPoint?

If you’re looking for agenda slide templates, you might be wondering if PowerPoint has any available in the “Templates” section of the program.

Unfortunately, there’s not an standard agenda slide template in PowerPoint. However, you can reverse engineer your entire presentation if you start with an agenda before creating the rest of your slides.

With the PowerPoint Designer you can use the basic agenda slide template to automatically create each slide based on your agenda chosen items. Even better, the Designer incorporates design elements to make your slide and agenda items pop.

Like a table of contents, an agenda slide lists the subjects covered during a presentation or meeting. Typically, the themes are hyperlinked to the respective parts so that viewers may easily go to the slide they desire by just clicking on the topic.

Why use agenda slides?

It is usually preferable that the crowd has a general idea of the topics you will be discussing. Agenda slides do this. It’s almost like a warm-up for the crowd. It also provides your presentation with structure. A concise agenda slide design informs the audience about the topic of your presentation and offers an outline of the items that will be discussed. An agenda slide is usually the initial slide that the viewer sees after the title page, thus it must be visually appealing. It is possible to accomplish this by adding a background image and utilizing icons and symbols in the subject list panel.

Choose a graphic that conveys seriousness. If you’re giving a presentation in the boardroom, the conference table might be useful. When speaking on a stage, the platform or the audience might be an excellent backdrop image. Alternatively, you may choose any business image depicting experts engaged in a discussion, a clock or a calendar indicating that time is of importance, a business desk, and so on.

Insert text boxes and use catchy titles

Instead of a regular text box, you may use the “Insert” option to insert a “SmartArt” graphic. It includes a collection of pre-formatted text boxes and graphics for displaying a group of objects’ process flow, hierarchy, and so on. For agenda slides, the “List” type is recommended.

  • Navigate to the Insert tab.
  • Select any form in the Shapes dropdown menu.
  • Construct the shape on the slide by dragging.
  • Optionally, select the Rotate dropdown option in the Format tab to rotate it in whichever direction you choose.
  • Duplicate the form until you obtain the required number of shapes.
  • Place a circle in every box and an icon in each box.

It is advised that you use completely editable vector icons so you may modify their colour, size, and so on without affecting the icon’s quality. After that, just place text boxes within the shapes to type out your agenda items.

Consider Hyperlinks

While in presentation mode, the user may move to the correct slide by simply tapping on the topic. You insert a hyperlink by right-clicking the chosen text and selecting “Hyperlink.” A dialogue box will open, and you can then navigate to the “This Document” tab and choose the page to which you want to connect. This is especially useful for presentations that include many slides and is shared with the audience. For conferences or speeches, this is rarely used. 

Outline for making agenda slides in PowerPoint

Step 1 : In the “Click to add title” box, put “Agenda” or your desired agenda slide title, such as “Today’s Topic.” then pull it to the slide’s top.

Step 2 : In the subtitle text box, write the first topic of the agenda, such as “Introductions.” Hit the “Enter” key to create a line of spacing between lines. Fill in the blanks on your slide with all of the items.

Step 3 : Highlight all of the text. Click the “Home” tab and the “Numbering” button in the ribbon’s paragraph area to add numbering to the agenda items. You may also use the drop-down arrow on the “Numbering” button to add A, B, C, or another formatting to the agenda topics instead of numbers. You don’t have to use numbers; you may alternatively use arrows or nothing.

Steps 2 and 3 can be substituted with the SmartArt Graphic described above. The graphic will automatically fill in the blanks for you to construct a list, provide a numbering, and give you space to enter your text.

Step 4 : Select the “Design” tab and move your mouse over the elements in the Themes column. There are several themes available with various backgrounds, text colours and sizes, and design components. If desired, select one to apply to the slide. You may also adjust specific text looks such as font type, size, colour and positioning using the Home tab’s Font section of the ribbon.

Step 5 : Select “Picture” under the “Insert” option. Double-click the corporate logo by navigating to it, dragging it into the slide’s vacant space, ideally to the left or right of the title.

How to Present Agenda Slides

The agenda requires hooks in order to keep the audience’s attention during the presentation. A hook persuades the audience to pay attention. It clearly explains why the information is valuable. The subjects that will be discussed in the presentation are simply listed on the agenda. The audience may or may not take the agenda’s worth into account.

The standard agenda slide has the drawback of being tedious and lengthy for the presenter to go through, and also gives the audience the option of choosing not to listen at specific times, if at all. As a result, the agenda presentation must be interesting.

How can I create an Agenda in PowerPoint?

There are several ways to create PowerPoint Agenda slides. In this article we will focus on how the new PPT Productivity Agenda Wizard can make creating dynamic PowerPoint Table of Contents or Agenda slides quick and easy.

What is the difference between a Meeting Agenda and a Table of Contents (ToC)?

We often refer to "Agendas" collectively to cover all kinds of document navigators, but there are some different types. Lets start by exploring the difference between a PowerPoint Table of Contents slide (aka ToC) and a PowerPoint Meeting Agenda slide.

A PowerPoint Table of Contents slide generally follows the title slide and lists all sections within the presentation, including section numbers and slide numbers of divider slides/ flysheets. Note that this gets confusing because many consultants refer to the Table of Contents slides as "the Agenda". Your Table of Contents slide should provide a guide, to help navigate your presentation. Using dividers which repeat the table of contents through the presentation (to introduce each new topic) is helpful. Displaying a tracking bar on the dividers helps to remind your audience where they are as they progress through the deck. ToC slides are probably the most common style of Agenda used in PowerPoint.

However, a PowerPoint Meeting Agenda slide contains additional details including Presenter, Duration and Timeslot. Meeting Agenda Slides in PowerPoint are typically used when running workshops, training or seminars which need to adhere to strict timings and/or where room location details need to be provided.

When you create a PowerPoint Meeting Agenda slide using the PPT Productivity Agenda Wizard, you can select what to include by checking the box next to the required details.

For example, you may wish to include the Agenda item number and Presenter but not the timeslot. To include the Agenda item number and Presenter details, simply check the box next to the words 'Item Number' and 'Presenter' but uncheck the box next to 'Timeslot'. When the 'Timeslot' box is unchecked, the Duration and Timeslot fields will be removed from your PowerPoint Meeting Agenda slide.

For the purpose of this article when we refer to Agenda slides we will be including both PowerPoint Meeting Agendas and Table of Contents Slides.

1. How to make an Agenda slide in PowerPoint?

Creating an Agenda or Table of Contents in PowerPoint (without the benefit of an add-in) can be quite a tedious task, because you will need to update any slide number references as you add content, or rearrange the order of the agenda items if you rearrange the slides in your presentation.

However PPT Productivity add-in for PowerPoint makes creating Agendas easier with the Agenda Wizard for PPT feature. The feature includes PowerPoint Agenda Templates and updates your Agenda as you continue to work on your presentation.

To create a PowerPoint Agenda with the PPT Productivity PowerPoint Agenda Wizard :

  • Open the Agenda Wizard from the Format Toolbar
  • In the Agenda Wizard, select whether you would like to create either a Meeting Agenda or Table of Contents
  • Type the first Agenda item in the text box below 'Agenda Item'
  • Hit 'Enter' to start a new line and add the next Agenda item
  • Repeat this until you have entered all of your Agenda items
  • Once all Agenda items have been entered, click the 'Format Agenda' tab to make any formatting changes (see point 12 for more information on how to make formatting updates to your PowerPoint Agenda slides) required. Or select 'Create' to generate your Agenda / Table of Contents Slide

2. How can I create a PowerPoint Agenda using PowerPoint sections?

PPT Productivity's Agenda Wizard offers you the option to use PowerPoint Sections for your agenda (PowerPoint Sections are a way to segment your document in standard PowerPoint). You can also create an agenda using the Agenda Wizard without using PowerPoint sections.

To create a PowerPoint Agenda using PowerPoint Sections , first add the sections in your document. To do this, right click in the thumbnail view beside your slides in PowerPoint and select 'Add Section'. Each time you do this, PowerPoint will insert a new section and prompt you with the option to name the section. Repeat this step until you have set up your sections through the presentation.

Once you have created all of your sections, open the PPT Productivity Agenda Wizard from the PPT Productivity Format Toolbar.

  • In the Agenda Wizard, select if you would like to create either a Meeting Agenda or Table of Contents format.
  • Then click the 'Import Agenda Items' button at the bottom of the PPT Productivity PowerPoint Agenda Wizard window (refer to the screenshot below).

  • When you select 'Import Agenda Items', you will see a number of import options (different locations where you might want to import your agenda content from). Select the 'Load Section Names' option and click OK (refer to the screenshot below).

  • The section names you added in the earlier step will appear in the Preview panel. If you click OK these will be imported as your list of Agenda items. You can then either select the 'Format Agenda' tab to make any formatting updates, or simply click 'Create' to create your PowerPoint Agenda Slide from PowerPoint Section names.

3. Can I create a PowerPoint Agenda from data copied to my clipboard?

Yes - you can use data copied on your clipboard to create your agenda. To create a PowerPoint Agenda slide from data copied to your clipboard:

  • First, copy the content required by selecting the text and Ctrl + C keyboard shortcut (or right mouse click, 'copy' to save the data to your clipboard).
  • Open the PPT Productivity Agenda Wizard from the Format Toolbar.
  • In the Agenda Wizard, select whether you would like to create either a Meeting Agenda or Table of Contents format
  • Select 'Import Agenda Items'
  • In the 'Import Agenda Items' dialogue, select 'Load from Clipboard'. The copied content will appear in the 'Preview Agenda Items' window
  • Click OK to close the 'Import Agenda Items' dialogue.
  • Your copied content will now appear in the list of Agenda items. You can click the 'Format Agenda' tab to make any formatting changes required. Or simply click 'Create' to create your PowerPoint Agenda Slide from data copied to the clipboard.

Perhaps you have already created a mockup slide with your Agenda, but you'd like to quickly format it and automatically add the divider sheets. You can use the Agenda Wizard to convert your existing Agenda slide into a Table of Contents or Meeting Agenda:

4. Can I use an existing PowerPoint Agenda with the PPT Productivity Agenda wizard?

Yes - you can convert an existing agenda slide in your presentation into a properly formatted PowerPoint Agenda slide with meeting details or updating divider sheets with the Agenda Wizard. To do this:

  • Open your PowerPoint presentation with the existing Agenda slide, then select the PPT Productivity Agenda Wizard from the Format Toolbar.
  • In the Agenda Wizard, select whether you would like to create either a Meeting Agenda or Table of Contents layout.
  • In the 'Import Agenda Items' dialogue, select 'Load from Agenda Slides'. Your content from the existing Agenda Slide will appear in the 'Preview Agenda Items' window.
  • Click OK to close the 'Import Agenda Items' dialogue box.
  • The content from the existing Agenda slide will now appear in the list of Agenda items. You can click the 'Format Agenda' tab to make any formatting changes required. Or simply click 'Create' to create your PowerPoint Agenda Slide from an Agenda slide.

5. Can I create a PowerPoint Agenda from Slide Titles?

With PPT Productivity's Agenda Wizard you can create PowerPoint Agenda / Table of Contents slides from the slide titles of all or selected slides in your presentation. Creating your Agenda from your slide titles is often a great starting point. You can also edit your agenda once the slide titles are imported to the wizard.

To create an Agenda slide from selected slide titles in your PowerPoint presentation:

  • Select the slides in your presentation containing slide titles you want to include as Agenda Items
  • Open the PPT Productivity Agenda Wizard from the Format Toolbar
  • In the 'Import Agenda Items' dialogue select 'Load from Selected Slides'. Slide titles from the selected slides will appear in the Preview Agenda Items window
  • Click OK to close the 'Import Agenda Items' dialogue
  • The selected slide titles will now appear as your list of Agenda items. You can click the 'Format Agenda' tab to make any formatting changes required. Or simply click 'Create' to create your PowerPoint Agenda Slide from selected PowerPoint slide titles.

6. How can I create a PowerPoint Agenda from Slide Content?

To create a PowerPoint Agenda or Table of Contents from the content of a specific slide in your presentation:

  • Select the slide in the presentation you want to use to source the content from
  • In the 'Import Agenda Items' dialogue select 'Load from Slide Content'. The slide content of the selected slide will appear in the Preview Agenda Items window
  • Your selected slide's content will now appear as your list of Agenda items. You can click the 'Format Agenda' tab to make any formatting changes required. Or simply click 'Create' to create your PowerPoint Agenda Slide from the selected slide content.

7. How do I re-order the Agenda items on PowerPoint Agenda or Table of Contents?

Have you ever created your PowerPoint Agenda / Table of Contents slide, and all your divider slides, but then realized you need to change an Agenda item, or rearrange the Agenda order? Or perhaps you've sent a deck to a colleague for review and they have rearranged your slides? Updating a Table of Contents or Agenda in standard PowerPoint is not a quick process, but the Agenda Wizard for PowerPoint can solve this!

There are several ways the PPT Productivity Agenda Wizard allows you to re-order / update Agenda items on a PowerPoint Agenda or Table of Contents. These include:

  • Re-ordering the PowerPoint Sections in your document
  • Re-ordering the sequence of the slides in the PowerPoint document
  • Re-ordering the list of Agenda items from the Agenda Wizard menu
  • Updating the source that you used to import the Agenda items and refreshing in the Agenda Wizard

Let's review each of these methods of updating your Agenda slides in detail

8. How do I refresh the order of my Agenda or Table of Contents using PowerPoint Sections?

If you have created your Agenda or Table of Contents using PowerPoint sections:

  • To update the order of items on PowerPoint Agenda or Table of Contents slides go to the Slide Thumbnail view and select the Section which needs to be re-ordered.
  • Drag the PowerPoint Section to the required location in the document. When you drag / move a PowerPoint section within a document, the 'child' / connected slides will move with the Section.
  • Continue to drag and drop all the sections until you have them in the correct locations in the document.
  • Open the PPT Productivity PowerPoint Agenda Wizard from the Format Toolbar
  • The Agenda Items list will reflect the updated order of sections. Click update.
  • All Agenda / Table of Contents slides as well as the divider slides will update according to the new order of the PowerPoint Sections.

9. How can I sync PowerPoint Agenda slides when I make changes to the order of my slides?

It's easy to update PowerPoint Agenda Slides by re-ordering the slides in your PowerPoint deck and running the sync feature from the PPT Productivity Agenda Wizard for PowerPoint.

  • Select the divider slide that needs to be moved.
  • Move to the desired point in your presentation, along with any other slides that need to come after the divider slide.
  • Continue to move the slides to the correct position in the presentation.
  • When you are happy with the new order of slides, open the PPT Productivity Agenda Wizard from the Format Toolbar.
  • In the Agenda Wizard dialogue box, the list of Agenda Items will have automatically re-ordering corresponding to the changes to the slider order in the deck.
  • Click update to sync the Agenda and divider slide content to represent the updated order of slides.

10. How can I sync Agenda PowerPoint slide using the PPT Productivity Agenda Wizard?

The PPT Productivity PowerPoint Agenda Wizard enables you to easily update / sync your Agendas quickly with any changes you make to the order or content of Agenda items listed in the Agenda Wizard.

  • To update the order of Agenda items on your Agenda slides, either use the arrows on the left hand side of the Agenda items list; use keyboard shortcut Shift + Alt + Up Arrow / Shift + Alt + Down Arrow; or simply drag and drop each Agenda item to the correct level on the Agenda List.
  • You can also use the left and right arrow (Shift + Alt + Right Arrow / Shift + Alt + Left Arrow) to promote or demote Agenda items (e.g. to make them sub agenda items).
  • Click the X button to delete Agenda items that are not required.
  • In addition to re-ordering the Agenda Items, any required updates to the text can be made from the Agenda Items list.
  • Once the items have been re-ordered and any additional edits required have been made to the Agenda items, click 'Update'.
  • Your Agenda and Divider slides will automatically sync / refresh with the updates made in the PPT Productivity Agenda Wizard.

11. Can I update PowerPoint Agenda slides if I make changes to the source content?

If the original source of the PowerPoint Agenda Content changes, you can update the Agenda by simply re-importing the source content into the Agenda Wizard.

  • Choose which data source you are importing the Agenda Items from
  • Once you've imported the refreshed Agenda items, Click update. The new content will now appear on the Agenda / Table of Contents and divider slides.

12. How do I make formatting changes to my PowerPoint Agenda Slides?

The PPT Productivity PowerPoint Agenda Wizard aims to make creating and updating PowerPoint Agenda / ToC slides as simple and fast as possible! When you create an Agenda slide with the PPT Productivity Agenda Wizard, the format will automatically take on the format of the PowerPoint Template Theme you are using. This means the style, layout and color scheme will match your current document. PPT Productivity uses your template layouts and selects one of them to create your Agenda template.

However, you can make changes to the format if preferred. To make formatting changes to your PowerPoint Agenda Slides:

  • Click 'Format Agenda' at the top of the Agenda Wizard window
  • From the 'Format Agenda' tab you can choose to include Divider slides / flysheets or only generate the Cover or 'main' Agenda slide by checking the box next to each.
  • Checking 'Sync Divider Slide' will apply any formatting selections made on the Cover slide to the Divider slides - so you only need to make the selection once if the changes you wish to apply are the same for both the Cover and Divider slides.
  • The PPT Productivity Agenda Wizard will automatically select a Slide Layout from the Master Layouts connected to the template design you are using, however, you can select an alternate slide layout from your master slide layouts by clicking the dropdown arrow.

  • PPT Productivity will apply a default Agenda Style to your Agenda Slides, but you can select an alternate style from the selection of built-in Agenda style layout options.
  • PPT Productivity will automatically select the primary and secondary font and fill colors based on your PowerPoint presentations' template color theme, however you can change these from the dropdown color menu if required.
  • The dropdown color menu will give you the ability to update the primary and secondary colors from your theme colors, standard PowerPoint colors, your PPT Productivity color toolbar custom colors or custom presentation colors.
  • Once you have made any formatting changes required, hit 'Create' to generate your new Agenda slide (and divider slides if selected). If you would like to save these preference for future use, hit 'Save Settings'. Your updated selections will be saved as your default settings for your future PowerPoint Agenda Slides.

13. What is a PowerPoint Divider / Flysheet?

Flysheets or Divider slides are the first slide within each section of a PowerPoint presentation. They are used to indicate the start of a new section.

When you create a PowerPoint Agenda or Table of Contents slide with the PPT Productivity's PowerPoint Agenda Wizard , there is an option to have Divider slides or Flysheets automatically generated and inserted into your presentation at the beginning of each section. If you do not require Divider slides or Flysheets in your presentation, simply leave 'Generate Divider Slides' unchecked.

14. When should I include a PowerPoint Divider slide or Flysheets in my presentation?

PowerPoint Divider Slides are useful if your PowerPoint deck / presentation has different topics or sections you need to cover. They help to clearly separate the key messages and guide your audience. Generally Divider Slides will include either only the section title, or they can display a copy of the PowerPoint Agenda / ToC, with the relevant section highlighted.

Having Divider Slides also help navigate through your presentations because you can add hyperlinks to the Agenda / Table of Contents. These hyperlinks can quickly navigate the reader to each Divider in your presentation.

15. How do I navigate PowerPoint Presentations using a PowerPoint Agenda / Table of Contents?

The PPT Productivity Agenda Wizard automatically hyperlinks Agenda items appearing on the PowerPoint Agenda / Table of Contents slide to the relevant Divider slide / flysheet. The hyperlinked Agenda items can be clicked on to navigate through your PowerPoint presentation.

  • To navigate your document using Agenda slides, click the Agenda item you want to navigate to.
  • You will automatically be taken to the relevant Divider slide in the document. If you have used a Divider slide / Flysheet style that includes all Agenda items, you can click other Agenda items to navigate to the appropriate section in the deck.
  • If you have used a Divider slide/ Flysheet style that only includes the individual section name, click Home to navigate back to the main Agenda / Table of Contents slide.

Create, open, and name a presentation

Go to powerpoint.office.com .

The app launcher icon in Office 365

Select New blank presentation , open a Recent file, select one of the themes , or start with a presentation template .

To name the presentation, select the title at the top and type a name.

If you need to rename the presentation, select the title and retype the name.

Create a presentation

Add a slide

Select the slide you want your new slide to follow.

Select Home > New Slide .

Select Layout and the you type want from the drop-down.

When working in PowerPoint for the web, your work is saved every few seconds. You can select File > Save a Copy to create a duplicate copy in another location.

Or choose File > Download As to save a copy to your device.

Use Download a Copy to save the presentation to your computer

When you're online, AutoSave is always on and saves your changes as you work. If at any time you lose your Internet connection or turn it off, any pending changes will sync as soon as you’re back online.
