My school organized a picnic on Children’s Day. It has been one of the most memorable days of my life. The school took us to a resort that had swings and greenery. We went there by bus with all our friends.

Upon reaching the location, they gave us hot tomato soup as winters were going on. After that, we roamed around the resort that was filled with greenery. I took a lot of photos with my friends and teachers.

It was the first day in school after first term examination when school picnic for this year was announced in the class. Everyone has been excited since then. It was a cold winter morning, the school bus departed at sharp seven in the morning. “Picnic”, a day every student in the school is eagerly awaits the whole year. This year’s school picnic was to be held at Splash Water Park which was at three hour’s drive from our school. Everyone from my class was showing up for the picnic expect for one of my friend Kashyap who unfortunately was out of station on the day of picnic to attend some family function.

On the day of the picnic unlike every other day we reported to the school earlier than our regular timings, due to excitement, obviously! Our class was divided into four groups of ten students each. Each group had one leader to watch upon the respective team members. I was the captain of our group.

We reached the destination at 10am and were given half an hour to collect our swim suits take a shower and get ready for the real fun. Water Park was full of amazing water rides namely Demon’s hole, lazy river, Amazonia, free fall, loop hole, etc. Demon’s hole and Amazonia were my favourite. Demon’s hole was a dark cylindrical water slide with utterly thrilling twists and turns and Amazonia was a super large water slide which took us through an artificially created jungle, which gave a feel of passing through the streams in Amazon rain forests.

In lunch, we were served lip-smacking Punjabi food with gulab jamuns in dessert. Then, there was a wave pool, besides which there was a beautiful artificial waterfall. We checked out from the park at 5pm in the evening and returned to our school at around eight.

I remember almost nothing from the return journey as we were all tired till the end of the day. Our legs were paining as they had exercised hard while climbing those steps for the slides, and thus out of exhaustion almost everyone was asleep in the bus while returning. It was a day well spent.

The happiness that we gained in the most simple things in life, bursting into laughter after playing pranks on our fellow classmates and that momentary anger of the one who had been pranked, those tired yet smiling faces at the end of the day and many more tingling moments are the memories to cherish forever.

Memories of this day will always hold a cosy corner in my and all our hearts. Somewhere I still wish if I could go back to this day again and feel that same thing with those same people all over again.

I was in standard 3 rd when my school had arranged a picnic to Kamla Nehru zoo situated besides Kankaria Lake, Ahmedabad. Being a kid, I was extremely excited for the picnic. A day before picnic I went to the nearby shop with my father to buy some snacks for the picnic. I bought a packet of chips, cookies, soya sticks and few packets of chewing gum.

I was up before the alarm despite not being able to sleep until late at night. I got to school at around 7am in the morning, half an hour prior to the reporting time. We had to be in pair on this day, which was decided on the basis of roll numbers, luckily for me I partnered up with Manan whose number was right next to me. Singing, dancing, playing we travelled the road till the destination. We were served ice-cream as soon as we got there. We were all excited to step in the zoo.

First of all we had to enter the bird section where we saw a number of varied and beautiful birds. Toucan, a black and yellow coloured bird with a large beak, kingfisher a little bird with most vivid colours, Hornbill a beautiful bird with a horn like thing on its head and albatross a fine white and black coloured with aquatic habitat were some of the birds we saw. We also saw deer, hippopotamus, fox, wolf, alligator, crocodile, wild ass, yellow python snake, bear and many more. But our favourite ones were still left, where we had to visit after the lunch.

Finally, after the lunch it was the time for which we were all so excited about – to see the fastest animal cheetah, the national animal tiger and of course the king of the jungle, lion. We also saw jaguar and leopard. We were done with the zoo at around 3 in the afternoon, and we had time until 5 pm so the teachers decided to take us all to have a look around at Kankaria Lake. It was a beautiful place.

We sat on a mini toy train there which took us on a ride around the lake. After everyone completed the ride, it was almost 5 which was the time to leave for home. Teachers started counting the number of students, which brought them to the conclusion that one kid from our class has been missing. The teachers panicked however they were finally able to find Hussain, the lost one after 10 minutes of search operation.

Today, it might be a mere picnic to a zoo, but when I remember back I realized how these little things used to make me happy.

There were different buildings build for different purposes. There were offices, factories and many other places where we can work and get salary in Kidzos. The kids are divided in different groups for different jobs as per their age. First of all, I and my friends went to the dentist and learnt some skills for removing the tooth having cavities. Not only this, we also did check up of other kids with different instruments. At the end of that, the head dentist made us understand about how crucial it is to do proper brushing. After that, we went to the bakery and made our very own delicious donuts.

We also did the wall painting on a very huge wall besides the road. Then, we got to know that there is a fashion show and we can walk on the ramp wearing those beautiful clothes. I and my friends couldn’t control our excitement and we immediately went for that. We walked through the ramp and it was an amazing experience. To our excitement, we saw an ice cream parlour next to that building. Going inside we realized that we can make our own ice cream, of whichever flavour we like. Similarly, there was a Kinder Joy factory where we made Kinder Joy and a Kellogs factory where we made Chocos.

Not just work, there were buildings in which there were classes to learn dance, play guitar, drums and flute, and also sing. So, we tried out almost everything we could. I learnt few notes on guitar and that was my first time on any musical instrument. After learning all this new stuff, we thought to try our hands on gadgets also. So, we went to the gadget store nearby where we were given information about the technology used in mobile phones and laptops. It was real fun.

To end our tour, there was a series of folk dances and music where all the kids had prepared something of their own for the entertainment of the audiences. I was also a part of a group with whom I performed Bhangra. This made us interact with other kids more and that is where I made my new friends who were basically from Amritsar, my birth place. All of the shows, including the singing event, helped us know how amazingly talented other kids were. After all of this there was a thank you speech by the staff members with whom we were also connected now.

All of this experience of being part of this amazing world was beyond words. It was the world where we not just used the amenities but also helped in creating them. The joy of making something on your own was just beyond words. Every kid should once visit Kidzania in their childhood and make long lasting memories there.

This was probably the only day in the whole year when I was packing my things the previous night, apparently because I didn't want to be late on the day of the picnic. After preparing my things I had a conference call with my friends. We discussed how excited we all were for our picnic.

Each one of us, enjoy going for an outing with our family and friends. It might be a movie, an amusements park or a zoo. Picnic doesn’t only bring us close but we all get to know each other in a better way.

My first picnic

I was 12 when I went for my first picnic with my friends, organized by our school. I still remember it was an early Sunday morning and my father dropped me to the school for the trip. We were supposed to be taken to a zoo and a dairy factory, where we enjoyed ourselves very much.

Just a day before my picnic I bought so many eatables and food items to enjoy during my picnic. We reached the school and I bid a bye to my dad and then he left.

We entered the bus, as it was my first journey by bus so, I was a little nervous but since my friends were with me so I regained my confidence and the journey began.

The destination was quite far from our school. So to make the journey entertaining we played games in the bus, we sang songs, laughing, chatting, singing and had some snacks. I saw so many beautiful scenes during the journey, outside of the pacing bus.

When we reached the destination

It was a bright morning and the birds were chirping in joy. When we entered inside the zoo, there was a small beautiful lake at the entrance. The water was quite cool.

When I went close, I saw so many different breeds of fishes, and turtles. Next to the lake we saw the peacock cage where the bird had spread its mesmerizing feathers and was dancing in joy. The whole scene was like a beautiful dream.

We took photographs and then we moved ahead to explore more about that place.

Exploring the place

At first I saw my favourite animal ‘ tiger ’ and it looked so fierce and dangerous that I just got afraid and ran away from its cage. We heard the lion roaring shut in the cage.

Then I saw the cage of deer, they all were playing with each other and it was a pleasant scene. Then we enjoyed boating . We saw many different faunas like crocodile, snakes frogs and did some fishing.

We then further explored the different creatures of the zoo. I took so many photographs with my teachers and friends. We were in high spirits; we just ran around and climbed the trees, shouting in joy.

After exploring the zoo we all were just starving from hunger so we all gathered at a place and had our tasty lunch that we all carried from our home.

I remember after finishing my own lunch, I ate one of my friend’s lunches too and then we started playing games.

My friend carried badminton rackets with him and both of us played a match and I remember losing the match to him and we played hide and seek too. After a short game we all were taken to a toy train in the zoo.

We all sat on the train and we explored all the parts of the zoo that we were not able to see earlier. We really enjoyed ourselves and gathered so many sweet memories.

Then, we packed our stuffs and we were ready to go to the other part of our picnic that was the dairy. I was not very much excited to visit the dairy, as I thought it would be a boring place and there would be nothing to do like any fun sort of thing.

When we reached our next Destination

When we reached the dairy we all stood up at the entrance in a queue. Then we moved in together silently.

When we entered we saw a big ice cream and milk parlour and a factory where the products were manufactured. As we were the visitors so we got an ice cream and a milkshake for free and we really enjoyed it. Then we moved inside where the processing of products was being done.

The purpose of this visit was to help the students to gain some external knowledge that may help them in future. As we moved inside, the manager greeted us and took us for a short factory tour.

We got ideas of how the processing was done of the raw products, how the packaging was done and what all were the requirements to successfully deliver the product to the market. Then we visited the garden area of the factory where the cattle and its feed were kept.

It was an eye’s dropping moment as everything was so well organized right from the entrance to the factory and obviously the cattle’s as well.

The manager explained to us that how he managed the entire factory and this trip proved to be really beneficial for us , as we gained so much of knowledge , learned how to be in discipline , to keep unity among ourselves and most of all the importance of hard work in our life to achieve success.

Then finally the time came when we had to leave and we all collected our stuffs, bid a goodbye to the manager and left for our bus.

My School Picnic Essay For Students

When I was in standard 3rd, my school organized a picnic to Kamla Nehru Zoo, which is located near Kankaria Lake, Ahmedabad. My father and I went to the nearby store a day before the picnic to buy snacks. I was very excited about the picnic. The packets of chips and cookies, soy sticks and chewing gum I bought were tasty.

My School Picnic to Zoo: On this one occasion, I probably packed my things up the previous night, obviously so that I wasn’t late for the picnic. In the morning I made a conference call with my friends. We talked about how excited we all were for our picnic. We decided when we would catch up the next day.

Even though I couldn’t sleep until late at night, I got to school at 7am, half an hour before reporting time. The team was divided into pairs based on roll numbers, and I was paired up with Manan, whose number was right next to mine. After traveling the road for a couple of hours singing, dancing and playing , we arrived at the zoo. After receiving ice cream when we arrived, we were eager to see the animals.

To begin with, we checked out the bird section, which had many diverse and beautiful species of birds. Some of the birds we saw include kingfishers, toucans, albatrosses and hornbills. Toucans have a distinctive black and yellow colouration, and kingfishers have bright colors. We also saw deer, hippopotamuses, foxes, wolves, alligators, crocodiles, wild asses, yellow python snakes, bears, and many more. But our favorite ones were still there, so we visited them after lunch.

Finally, after lunch, it was time to see the fastest animal in the world, the cheetah, as well as the national animal, the tiger and the king of the jungle, the lion. We also saw jaguars and leopards. The teachers decided to take us to Kankaria Lake after we were finished at the zoo around 3 in the afternoon. It was a beautiful place.

It was almost 5 when we finished the train ride, so it was time for everyone to leave for home. After counting the number of students, we found out one kid had been missing from class . However, after 10 minutes of searching, the teachers finally found Hussain, the lost student.

Conclusion: These small things might seem insignificant today, but when I remember back, I realize how much they meant to me when I was younger.

My School Picnic Essay for Class 4,5,6

I’ve always loved going to amusement parks for a day out. I was pleased to learn that the school picnic for this year would be held at Essel World. Because it was our tenth grade year, it meant so much to us. It may have been our last year together. I will be in a different stream from my friends next year. As we bid goodbye, we hoped we would have many happy memories to carry around.

Picnic Experiences at Amusement Park: Whenever I have a picnic, I always have a sleepless night. My dreams of how amazing picnic would be always kept me up late before picnic. We played dumb charades and truth and dare to kill time during the long walk from school to the amusement park.

Buses dropped us off at a place where we had to board a boat to get to the amusement park. Our boat provided a great view of the Shot-N-Drop ride. There was a lot of shouting from people enjoying the ride, and it was thrilling to be on the boat. We had to make the most of our day, as it may be our last one with our people. Our team jumped into the park as soon as possible to get the most out of it.

Even though I can’t remember all the rides we had been on, I still remember going from side to side on the ride named thunder. I remember the thrill and fear I felt when we were falling during Shot-N-Drop. I remember the goose bumps we got when Top-Spin whirled us around. We laughed stupidly when our cars ran into other cars. Our memories will never forget that moment when we finally reached the end of Alibaba’s mirror maze, turning to the tingling sensation when that cold water splashed upon us when we finally made it out.

Our memories will always include the happiness found in the simplest things in life: laughing when we played pranks on our fellow classmates, observing their momentary anger after being pranked, seeing their tired but happy faces as the day ends and many more such tingling moments.

Conclusion: I and all of us will always treasure the memories of this day. It would be wonderful if I could relive that moment with those people again, but I still wish it could be done.

Short Essay on My School Picnic 150 words

When the school picnic for this year was announced in class on the first day after first term exams, it was the first day after first term examinations. After that, everyone was elated. A picnic was planned for the forest of Jambugdhoda at Vananchal resort this year. My group and I have never had a problem with permission from our parents, so the announcement was no problem for us.

It was a cold winter morning, and the school bus left at seven o’clock in the morning. As we played fun games with classmates on the way to the resort, the almost two-hour journey felt like a matter of minutes. We all arrived at the resort around 9 a.m. and were given welcome drinks. After that, we went on a nature walk and saw a variety of trees and birds. The picnic’s most exciting part came after the nature walk.

Definitely! There was time at the pool, but unfortunately it couldn’t last the entire day. When you’re at the pool, no matter how long you’re there, you can never get enough time. We enjoyed lunch, then some fun activities such as zip-lining and rappelling. We didn’t even notice that the day was over since it passed so quickly. I will always cherish this day.

It took four hours to use and complete the tasks there. We started our adventure early in the morning, so as to explore the whole place. I like visiting at forts and vintage buildings. So, I picked Jaisalmer as our picnic spot.

In these stressful lives, we always look for an escape such that we can forget about our daily problems and enjoy our time away from the pollution and chaos of the city. The best option is to go on a picnic. Picnics are cherished and loved by both kids and adults. It relieves stress and adds some variety to our daily routine.

A picnic is referred to as one of the calmest outdoor activities, although it has its fun sides as well. A meal we consume outside, below the sky, in the presence of sparkling air and plant life, can be termed a picnic. People often plan picnics in parks, lakesides, seashores, and other outside locations that involve a stunning view and clean air.

I Enjoy Picnics. A Picnic is something that puts me in just the right mood after Days of drawling away on math sums and learning Geographical Locations in the world which I may not even visit in this Lifetime. After the Board Exams, The Picnic itinerary was sent to all of us in our emails, and It was a huge relief seeing the subject of the email as ‘Picnic’ instead of ‘Homework’ or ‘Practice Sheets.’

The School Picnic is a short but lovely experience that engages the teachers and students into a world of fun that can never happen in classrooms. In short, it is an occasion that we all look forward to. This year we planned to visit Eldorado park in Mumbai. Most of the students had not visited this place and it was a mystery that held a lot of surprises between us. The Eldorado park sits in a Flood Zone, but we did not know that it would flood our day with such immense joy! As we were all dressed in our best outfits, we were all in our best moods, and the breezy weather added to our happiness.

Entering the park, we looked around and chose the rides that we wanted to hop on. The Rides ranged from safe to merely thrilling and I was someone who wanted thrill at all times. We sat on the rollercoaster ride which was an extremely enthusiastic ride as we roamed up and down the rail relentlessly. The ‘Flip-line’ was also a joy but a bit scary for some people who were afraid of heights. We were strapped on with safety belts from our torsos and sent off hanging on the line from one point to the other.

We had a mesmerizing view of the mountain tops that resided near the amusement park. Some people even had stripped off their clothes and after putting on some light clothes, jumped into the pool. Yes, the pool time was one of my favorites which did not last for long. We jumped around and got out during the evening time.

The school workers took out their pots and pans along with the food. After thirty minutes, a delicious smell filled the air. After all, Picnics were all about good company and superb food, and we had both! As we all devoured the delicious Chinese food and Maggi watching the sunset, we realized that there would be no moment beautiful than this. After dinner, we all danced to music with all our hearts, though none of us was even near to being a good dancer.

Soon, The Time passed so soon that we didn’t even realize that the day was over. But at that moment, glancing through the windows of my bus and with earphones hanging from my ears, the music had a different meaning of happiness that not only soothed the mind but reached the heart and caressed it. Undoubtedly, these was going to be cherished as the best days of my normal human life.
